We are Alma and Tomás, an international couple who love exploring, creating, improving and taking care of spaces and people. We have been living nomadically for the last 6 years and during these years we have travelled around Europe in a caravan, lived in a variety of communities, travelled around Asia and participated in projects and activities to connect with people and take care of our amazing planet.

We enjoy simple living, meaningful conversations, working with our hands, minds and hearts. At the same time, we are very practical, responsible and very easy to live with since conscious comunication is much appreciated and praticed everyday of our lives. We genuinely enjoy helping, learning and becoming part of the projects we join.

Tomás has a background in law, teaching and communication, which makes him great with people, organization and problem-solving. Alma has an HR oriented background and brings a warmth, creative and nurturing energy, with a strong eye for aesthetics and detail.

We are both very hands on and love getting our hands dirty, weather that means working in nature, with building maintenance, construction or animals. And we both have a passion for healing and embodiment.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are a very hands-on couple and we genuinely enjoy physical and creative work. Some of the things we can help with:

- Gardening and basic land work (planting, cleaning, maintaining spaces)
- Painting and decorating (we love making places feel beautiful and alive)
- Construction and rebuilding (we know how to work with cement and wood)
- Cooking (delicious, healthy meals, and we enjoy cooking for groups)
- Simple carpentry and DIY projects
- Cleaning and organizing spaces
- Helping in guesthouses, hostels or retreats
- Customer interaction and hospitality
- Content creation (photos, videos, storytelling if needed)

We are fast learners, proactive and always willing to help where needed.

Alma: I have a wide range of skills coming both from my background in human resource and journalism, managing interpersonal office jobs which have required a lot of organization, structure and management. I also have experience from manual and outdoor work from my personal interests and volunteer experiences where I have been painting, oiling wood constructions, laying stone paths, gardening, pet sitting, house-sitting and supporting retreat spaces.

Tomás: I have always enjoyed working the land. My grandpa had a farm and it was one of my favorites places to go to as a kid. With time I learnt one or two things about farming and growing fruit trees and veggies. I also enjoy painting, in which I have tons of experience, using all kind of painting tools (spray, brushes, rollers, etc) woodwork and wood-crafting. I recently worked building a huge deck around a lake house in Sweden and I had a great time learning how to build stuff using wood. I also know how to handle power tools and love driving all kinds of vehicles, specially huge ones.

We both also know a few things about website design, social media management, content creation, AI tools, etc.

Was noch ...

We are a couple that has been living nomadically for close to six years. We met in Chile and have also lived in Spain (Barcelona, Algeciras, Las Alpujarras) and Sweden. We lived and travelled around Europe a year in our caravan, and after selling it also explored community living for a year in two different places in Sweden and Spain and we traveled around Asia for a year. Now we are interested in exploring workaway for a while mainly interested in connecting with like-minded people and learn at the same time that we get to know and explore new places and people.
