Hi hello everyone !

I'm Alice, 31 years old, and I recently got my working holiday visa for Japan (yessss), where I’m currently staying until summer 2024! I’m starting my journey with sightseeing in Hokkaido until the end of October, from when I would love to find a host.
I would like to make the most of that experience, and try different type of workaways (and wwoofings), particularly in the Hokkaidō, Tōhōku, Kantō and Kansai regions! If possible, I would also be delighted to try it in nearby other countries, such as South Korea, only if my budget allows me to do so though.

I got the chance to experience my first workaway back in 2016 (way too long ago if you ask me...), in the country side of Japan, and I'm really thankful to the family that welcomed me during more than two months.

I love meeting different type of people, and the more open-minded they are, the better! I'm passionate about singing, Japanese history and writing stories; (and travelling, but that implies money which is usually lacking heh.) I also enjoy music, playing games (video games, board games…), hiking, animals, esotericism, learning new languages, nature,... I can easily add history too, photography and social sciences. I'm very eager to share the things I like with others, and vice-versa.... I'm the dreamy type of character, but I'm hard-working and perfectionist, eager to learn and try out things I've never done before!

I'll do my best for the next workaway experience to be as good as possible! Well, any experience is good to take in the end, I'm very happy to have found out this site to begin with. And I'm going to stop writing now, I think it's already a bit too much?

With language starts many things, thus I’m very interested in learning and teaching it if I can; French is my mother tongue, I’m fluent in English and I have some Spanish basis; my Japanese is not bad but still not nearly good haha! One of my main goal is to become fluent in Japanese too, so sharing would be amazing!
