Beschreibung

Having just finished my studies in Fashion Management, I like to reconnect to nature as it brings me back down to earth and lets me breathe. I’m an organizational talent who loves to sew and be creative, not only with sewing and crafting but also in the kitchen cooking vegetarian and vegan meals. Caring not only for animals but also for plants, became one of my favorite things, as well as hiking and exploring new cultures.

Back in 2016, I was traveling and Couchsurfing around New Zealand and Australia while also doing an internship. During this trip, I also met my French boyfriend, Bastien, who was house-sitting and WOOFing at that time. Bastien just finished his PHD in communication sciences and psychology. After almost 4 years of hard work, he likes to reconnect with himself, traveling and focusing on activities he has put aside: Crafting, DIYing, fishing, hiking and most of all meeting people.

As we’re both done with our studies now, we would like to reconnect with how we have met and enjoy life and nature before heading into full-time jobs where ever in this world (still need to decide where we are going to go after).

We are both really open-minded people, always laughing, living life to the fullest as we enjoy meeting and helping people with whatever we can all over the world :)

As we are an international couple, we speak quite some languages. Bastien’s mother tongue is French, as he’s half Italian, he also speaks Italian fluently. Alica’s mother tongue is German and she does speak French quite well but is also still learning. We mainly speak English with each other but also tend to mix it while speaking (don’t worry, we will do our best to stick with English :) ). We are happy to teach you any of our language! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

During our trip we want to be useful. For us, traveling rimes with being part of the authentic way of life. On top of caring for animals, Bastien loves to help around, from the simple crafting to the proper building. Bastien is really handy and into woodwork, trust me, he can fix you anything that needs to be fixed and he’ll do it all with the biggest smile and joy on his face. He also knows how to horse ride and is able to take care of big fields.

Me personally, I’m really into sewing and crafting, so if you need any clothes fixed or ever wanted to learn how to sew, I’m going get started right away. I also love gardening, cooking and keeping a house clean and tidy.

We’re both open with any challenge you have for us as we love learning new things, especially outside of our bubble. We learn quick and happy to help where ever you need help any time :)
