Beschreibung

Hi! We’re Julián and Manuela. We’re currently traveling by car around Colombia with our 7-month-old baby and our dog. We love discovering places surrounded by nature , rivers, beaches, and mountains , and using this time to volunteer and learn from people who are building sustainable and meaningful projects.

We’re passionate about helping, sharing, and learning new skills. We travel with a tent and are flexible when it comes to accommodation , we’re happy to adapt to different types of stays and simple living environments.

About Manuela:
I’m a happy, extroverted person who loves dancing, cooking, and even hitchhiking. I enjoy working out and exploring different forms of art. I’m currently learning English and always excited to practice and improve.

About Julián:
I’m a curious person who loves learning new things and being on the road exploring landscapes, connecting with nature, and experiencing different cultures. I really enjoy building and creating things with my hands.

As a family, we enjoy working hard, contributing wherever we can, and becoming part of a community wherever we go. We’re very excited to see what meaningful experiences we can share and create together

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Manu:
I’ve always enjoyed working with both people and animals. I’m certified in animal care and fitness coaching, and I really love helping others feel strong and healthy. I grew up around construction because my family works in the trade, so being on a worksite and getting my hands dirty feels very natural to me. I’ve done mural painting, house painting, and different construction projects over the years.

I’ve also spent several months working on a farm, which taught me a lot about responsibility, teamwork, and staying adaptable. I’m a fast learner and genuinely enjoy stepping into new experiences. Lately, I’ve been exploring content creation and storytelling as a personal project because I love sharing meaningful moments and experiences. And something important about me , I absolutely love cooking. Preparing food for others is one of the ways I show care.

Julian:
I work as a software engineer focused on AI and data, but outside of my professional life I really enjoy working with my hands. I grew up spending summers on a farm, so physical work and using tools feel familiar and grounding to me. I’m a hobbyist carpenter and love building furniture, and I’ll be traveling with some of my own tools in case they’re helpful for projects.

I’m especially interested in bioconstruction and sustainable building. I’m very motivated to learn more about it and contribute wherever I can. I also enjoy photography and mural painting as creative ways to capture and share experiences, I’ll be bringing some equipment for that too.

I’m physically active, adaptable, and happy to help with farm work, construction, art projects, tech needs, or guest-facing roles. I’ve also worked in hospitality, customer service, teaching English, and I’m comfortable driving different types of vehicles.

Was noch ...

We’re traveling as a family with our baby and our dog, bringing good energy and a strong work ethic wherever we go. We’re flexible and easy to accommodate we travel with our own tent and are more than happy to camp if space is limited. We adapt, go with the flow, and always come prepared.

We also travel with tools and plenty of hands-on skills, and we’re ready to work extra hard to make up for the extra space we take. If you open your home or community to us, we’ll go the extra mile to show our appreciation and make sure our stay is a real contribution.
