Beschreibung

Hello everybody!

After our first workaway experiences in 2017/18 we are back as a family. Our intention is to show our children the world by staying with locals instead of only staying in touristic places.

Christian is a construction/civil engineer and also has a qualified degree in restaurant and hotel trade. He can give you a good hand in building and repairing things. He is also experienced with some farm work, since he grew up in a village with his grandparents having some animals and growing their own food.

Alexandra is a studied primary school teacher (subjects: german, english, maths, music and science instruction) and has worked in different branches before (restaurants, film production, extracurricular education,...). She is the musician of the family, creative and the organizing head. She can help you with creative work, babysitting, house work, animal and garden care.

Our two sunshine-girls are currently 4 years and 10 months old. They enjoy the company of people of any age and love helping wherever they can (as far as their motoric and cognitive skills allow ;)).

We both love cooking, making music and creative works.
We are open to any kind of work because we want to gather experience and are looking forward to learn things we didn´t know before.

We all like being outdoors.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Our top skill is our motivation. We are travelling to gather new experiences and are willing to learn new things.
After having some great workaway experiences we are excited to learn more about agriculture, permaculture and animals.
The both of us have moved several times and have lived in our own or shared flats for years. We like to meet new people and get in contact as well as enjoy to hang out and relax.
We know about basic renovation like painting and redecorating. Christian has basic knowledge in welding. At all we are both talented in manual work. Due to his profession as a construction/civil engineer Christian is used to hard work. We both grew up in families where we had helped in some building and gardening. I have a lot of experience and patience in working with children and teenagers. We both love cooking and are looking forward to learn some new recipes as well as sharing our knowledge.

We can entertain you with playing some music as soon as we have a guitar or you have one for us to play. If we enjoy our stay Alex can write a song on/for you ;)
