Hello there! I'm a folk musician/filmmaker from New Zealand. I've been on the road for a bit over a year now and am planning to keep going until I find a place to settle down. I spend most of my time reading, writing, exploring new places and learning languages (right now the big project is Ancient Greek (which makes me want to go paddling about in vast bodies of water and roast things over fires)). Life goal is to establish a quaint and utopic café in some jungle or mountain village, which I can open up for artists and travellers to stay and enjoy big cups of herbal tea and coffee. I am very passionate about community, third spaces etc. and finding little ways to navigate around the edges of this lil capitalist playground that we've found ourselves in and seems quite difficult to get out of.

I've spent most of my life in New Zealand but have also lived in France and Brazil. I used to travel quite quickly around the place, but now I more like going slow and spending a good bit of time wherever I go so I can make proper friends and connections.

I am pretty handy with tools and have experience with gardening, basic carpentry, painting and a host of other odd job type skills, so point me at it and I'll have a go! (I can also whip up a pretty solid flat white or cake when needed).
