Hi, you!
I'm Alba and I come from Lleida, Catalunya. I have just graduated from university, and I'd love to wander around for a bit and learn as much as I can from different countries and cultures. I love nature and being outdoors, but I'm also thrilled about meeting and working with new people. During the next few months, I'll be travelling through South America —Chile, Bolivia, Peru and Colombia. I hope we cross paths!☀️

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Soy licenciada en Educación Social y también tengo estudios sobre Relaciones Internacionales. Me decanté por esta carrera porque me apasiona trabajar con gente, ayudar y aprender de los sitios y de las personas que me rodean. Durante estos años he trabajado como profesora de inglés con niños y adolescentes de distintas edades, y también como educadora social en el campo de la infancia en riesgo de exclusión, la violencia de género y las adicciones.
En mi tiempo libre me gusta dedicarme a leer, escribir y hacer deporte en la naturaleza. Me encanta escalar y hacer senderismo por la montaña. También participo cada año como instructora en un voluntariado para jóvenes que consiste en hacer trabajos para la comunidad en la montaña (entre otras cosas, hemos arreglado caminos, canalizado riachuelos, construido pequeños puentes y zonas de descanso, señalizado rutas, etc.).
Aunque me gusta mucho leer y estudiar, también se me dan bien los trabajos manuales y me apasiona todo lo relacionado con el arte, por lo que paso mucho tiempo dibujando, tocando la guitarra, cantando... ¡y aprendo muy rápido!

I have just graduated from university after finishing my degree in Social Education, and I have also studied International Relations. I chose this career because I love working with others, helping and learning from the places and people around me. During these years I have worked as an English teacher with children and teenagers of different ages, and also as a social educator in the field of gender-based violence, substance addiction and children at high social risk.
In my free time, I like to read, write and practise sports outdoors, like climbing and hiking. I also participate every year as an instructor in a volunteer program for teenagers: we participate in different kinds of rural projects for the community in the mountains (among other things, we have fixed paths, channelled streams, built small bridges and rest areas, marked hiking routes, etc.).
Although I truly enjoy reading and studying, I am also good at crafts and I'm passionate about everything related to art, so I spend a lot of time drawing, playing the guitar, singing... and I'm a quick learner!
