  Hey there and welcome to our Workaway profile!
  
  I'm Marco , and I'm thrilled to be hosting this exciting project. I live in Alajuela, Costa Rica, with my family. There's my dad, Manuel Alvarado, my mom, Marlene García, my brother Manuel, and my partner, Ariana Morales, who's also part of our team.
  
  I've got a real passion for learning about different cultures and exploring new places and countries. That's why we've set up this project – to host English-speaking travelers, improve our English skills, and enjoy some fantastic cultural exchanges.
  
  We're absolutely stoked to have the chance to welcome Workaway volunteers and dive into this adventure together.
  
  As for me, I'm all in when it comes to making this experience enriching for everyone involved.
  
  Our family is the heart of this project, and we can't wait to connect with folks from all over the globe and soak up their diverse cultures and experiences.
  
  We're on the lookout for volunteers who are keen to help out with English practice and dive into some cultural exchanges. In return, we'll provide a cozy stay in Costa Rica and meals to keep you fueled up.

  We live in a safe location, nestled in Alajuela, Costa Rica, close to fantastic tourist destinations. Alajuela has been rated by TripAdvisor as one of the best destinations of 2024. During their free time, volunteers can explore the beauty of Costa Rica and all it has to offer. In return for their assistance, we'll provide volunteers with accommodation and meals, ensuring they have a comfortable and enjoyable stay while they help us out.

  Unterkunft

  Our home will be your home! We live in Alajuela, in a safe and private area. Volunteers will have their own private room with access to all the amenities we offer in our house, including bathroom, laundry, kitchen, and two living rooms. We want you to feel comfortable and at home while you're with us.

  If you decide to stay with us, you'll have the opportunity to embark on an incredible adventure. Immerse yourself in Costa Rica's rich natural and cultural diversity while collaborating with us on our project. From lush tropical rainforests to pristine beaches and majestic volcanoes, this country offers a unique experience filled with unparalleled beauty. In Alajuela, you can explore attractions such as the Poás Volcano and the La Paz Waterfall Gardens. Additionally, just a few hours away, you'll find coastal paradises like Santa Teresa and the beaches of Guanacaste.
  
  But that's not all. You'll also have the chance to delve into Costa Rica's rich culture during your stay. Furthermore, you can explore nearby destinations such as San Carlos, home to the majestic Arenal Volcano and its relaxing hot springs. Imagine enjoying these natural and cultural wonders while collaborating with us on our project.
  
  With excellent public transportation services available, plus, we have two cars available at the house, which can be used for local transportation or for exploring nearby attractions.
