We are a family of 5 living on half an acre of bush and gardens 20 minutes from Brisbane CBD. We home school our 3 girls who are 12, 15, 18 years old. We are a creative household and like to host events like house concerts in our backyard or woodworking workshops for young people. Our home is on the edge of the city and within 5 minutes drive of a beautiful dam for swimming and State Forest for walking in. We also have a bus stop outside our door to get you into the city and back. We would love some help with light house work, gardening, event organisation and also Japanese language skills.

We have an open house with lots of visitors of all ages through so they would meet lots of people. We like to visit beautiful natural places like waterholes, dams and forests and would include our guest in these trips.
We particularly want to learn Japanese. We also want help weeding, planting, mulching our extensive garden. Also some light housework like sweeping, mopping floors, washing up dishes and hanging out washing.

We have a spacious caravan in our front garden for our guests bedroom. There is an upstairs bathroom our guest could share with our 18 year old.
There is easy public transport and shops nearby. There is also bushland and a beautiful swimming dam within minutes of our home. We are very community minded people who love food growing and cooking, music, entertaining friends and family.
