  Hi everyone , my name is Gary and my wife is Shireen 😍
  We have a small Quinta (sml farm) in central Portugal near Gois & Arganil and we just ❤ botanical Herbs , nature and always Portugal.
  The surroundings are stunning, and a very unique part of the Portugal central mountain region , ..... and Your adventures can start here
  The Quinta had been abandoned for many decades but we are slowly restoring it back repairing walls ,water courses and converting overgrown terraces into productive growing beds were we grow many botanical, medical and tea infusions such as Wormwood ,Mugwort ,Mullien and Lemon balm.... just to name a few .☕
  Our farm is home to many species of woodland birds, insects and also to all sorts of mammals ,reptiles ,amphibians and together we share this small corner of this bio eco system....it paradise !
  There are birds of pray , eagles, and lizards scamper along our walls; while snakes avoid us and slip away through the grass. while newts, frogs and toads enjoy life in our pond and tanks .
  *Please note ; that some of the hillsides, and terraces we work on are steep and very challenging ! *

  We are looking for people that are independent , enjoy being around nature 🌿 proactive, honest, hardworking, and genuinely interested in helping us.
  Hopefully you will be a fun person to work with, with an attitude of just getting the job done ! and that you are enjoying your life to its full ..... is this YOU ! 🙏
  
  In return we can teach you all about how we cultivate botanical herbs 🌱 that we grow in these extreme mountains conditions , their uses and benefits that they have , as well as general maintenance to our Quinta such as repairing stone walls , fixing lavadas , building growing beds, forest management and so much more.....👍

  We invite you to take the the opportunity to experience some of the joys, traditions ,cultural, and general enjoy life here in the mountains 🌄
  you'll see people living in the smallest villages, meeting for a coffee or a beer at the end of the day village, with lots of smiles, chatting away ,having fun and enjoying life .🍺🍷☕
  You will meet interesting people from many cultures that have set up home here that are extremely honest welcoming and friendly people of Portugal
  
  There are beautiful natural rivers beaches in the summer ,magical waterfalls, and many trails and walks to enjoy. 🌼
  
  Throughout the summer there are traditional fiestas in many villages to enjoy and get involved in , as well as the WRC world rally that passes our Quinta , a motorbike 🏍 fiesta in Gois , off road 4x4 meets and vintage car and bike rally's , many many more events that all come to the region 🛵

  public transport from Porto or Lisbon airport are very good and we can always pick you up for the last part of your journey from Coimbra , Arganil or Gois, .....if this helps 🚆 ✈ 🚗

  - Work boots and -clothing i tend to wear wellington boots on the land ✔
  - Swim gear (If you want to swim) we have a natural feed pool in our village , and there are plenty of swimming spots in
  the river to enjoy
  - Sun protection/hat , it get hot here in the summer ✔
  - Rain gear+boots - as we will work outside when it rains from time to time ✔
