  We are Aurora and Juraj a well travelled artistic English/Croatian couple with two kitties currently residing in Vancouver, Canada. Our place is a 2 bed room 850sq apartment with patio overlooking the water and downtown Vancouver. Located in the heart of Lower Lonsdale on the North Shore it is a few minutes walk from the Sea Bus (direct to Downtown and metro) and galleries, shops, restaurants and the Shipyards Market. And within easy reach of many hikes, parks, lakes and the mountains. We also have a place we are doing up in rural Croatia which we may have Workaway opportunities for in the future.

  The North Shore has a rich indigenous history and culture with many local amenities and events that share this, and the natural landscape is right on your door step to be explored.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for a cat and plant sitter in exchange for accomdation for a bonded pair, both of whom are very chill and affectionate.
  
  They need their food topping up and water changing each day or two, litter changing once a week, and Lebowski requires a liquid medication twice a week which is very easy to administer. We would also appreciate the plants to be watered every 3 or so days.
  
  Other than just to make yourself at home (we leave a well stocked pantry and laundry card), enjoy the North Shore and leave the place as you found it.

  2 bed 850sq apartment to yourself. Guest room with queen (double) bed made up with fresh bed linen and towels for your arrival.

  There is a 7/11, IGA, Shipyards and Quay market all nearby. You can also get the bus west to Capliano Mall which has a Walmart or walk or bus up to Central Lonsdale where there is a Persia Foods and lots of bakeries, small stores and nice cheaper eats. There is also a library, and the Shipyards night market is on all summer with free live music on Friday nights.
  
  For getting around the Sea Bus is great and takes you Downtown and onto the Sky Train (metro). The R2 is the express bus from East to West along the north shore. And Phillips Exchange is the main connector.
  
  There are lots of places to visit from ours. Cates Park is the best spot in Vancouver for wild swimming and has kayak and SUP rentals as does Deep Cove. You can get a ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Bowen Island as a foot passenger for the day, and hike to the top. Quarry Rock (short hike with a very rewarding view) and the Grouse Grind (gets you up Grouse Mountain for free/cheap) are both very popular hikes, and the Baden Powell Trail (Deep Cove to Lynn Valley) is more intense.
