  We are a family of 2. I’m Macarena Chilean and Croatian, and my son Noah who is 4 years of age. We're friendly, easy going, we like talking and doing activities. We're a family of immigrants who have travelled a lot before as a family and on our own. We like knowing about other cultures and meeting interesting people.
  
  I work from home on my laptop and our son is active, easy to play with and lovely. He’s going to the kindergarten, he wants to explore everything and looks for interaction, he loves talking. We believe in positive discipline (no punishment)

  Somos una familia de 2. Soy Macarena, chilena y croata,y mi hijo es Noah, de 4 años. Somos amigables, fáciles de llevar, nos gusta hablar y hacer actividades. Hemos viajado mucho antes en familia y solos. Nos gusta conocer otras culturas y gente interesante.
  
  Yo trabajo desde casa en mi computador y nuestro hijo es activo, fácil de jugar y encantador. Va al jardín, quiere explorar todo, y busca interacción, le encanta conversar. Creemos en la disciplina positiva (sin castigo)

  Split is the perfect place to stay in Croatia, is all walkable, extremely safe, and you can have both the very touristic or peaceful side of Croatia. Beside, you have many different towns, beaches, cities and islands that you can go to during a day trip or during the weekend. Croatia is full of natural paradises and many are almost virgin
  
  When I’m not working I’m open and available to go out, to the beach or towns that are nearby, do activities that are children friendly, go on picnics, to eat outside or have a coffee. I love hanging around, I enjoy conversation, so this is a possibility if you want to enjoy some company.
  
  You have from clean beaches, to historical places, lakes, rivers, mountains, towns with legends, museums. If you like go shopping, you can also enjoy the different boutiques and shopping centres.
  
  During the summer there is also a lot of people in the tourist areas so it would be easy to meet people if you like that. On the contrary, if you don’t like places where there is many people, 20 minutes away by car, or a walking distance from our house you have beautiful places with very few people. The area where we live is well connected but you don’t find many tourists in our neighbourhood, it’s mostly locals so it’s very easy to scape the touristic groups is you want that

  Split es el lugar perfecto para alojarse en Croacia, es transitable, extremadamente seguro y puedes tener tanto el lado más turístico como el más tranquilo de Croacia. Además, tienes muchos pueblos, playas, ciudades e islas diferentes a los que puedes ir durante una excursión de un día o durante el fin de semana. Croacia está llena de paraísos naturales y muchos son casi vírgenes
  
  Cuando no estoy trabajando estoy abierta y disponible para salir, a la playa o a los pueblos que están cerca, hacer actividades que puedan incluir a un niño, ir de picnic, comer al aire libre o tomar un café. Me encanta pasar el rato, disfruto de la conversación, así que esta es una posibilidad si quieres disfrutar de nuestra compañía.
  
  Cerca desde playas limpias, hasta lugares históricos, lagos, ríos, montañas, pueblos con leyendas, museos. Si te gusta ir de compras, también puedes disfrutar de las diferentes boutiques y centros comerciales.
  
  Durante el verano también hay mucha gente en las zonas turísticas por lo que sería fácil conocer gente si te gusta eso. Por el contrario, si no te gustan los lugares donde hay mucha gente, a 20 minutos en coche o bus, o andando de nuestra casa tienes lugares preciosos con poca gente. El área donde vivimos está bien comunicada, pero no encuentras muchos turistas en nuestro vecindario, la mayoría son lugareños, por lo que es muy fácil escapar de los grupos de turistas si así lo deseas.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for a lady who:
  
  1. Takes care of my son at home, which could entail picking him up from the kindergarten, playing with him, giving him food, taking him to the playground. Some times we are going to be the 3 of us together in the house.
  2. Help with cleaning or arranging the apartment depending on the need. 1 day would be deep cleaning for sure (4 hours approx)
  
  You need to be a person who likes little kids, who is patient, likes to play, and can pay attention exclusively to him when you’re together
  
  This is an opportunity for women only. You're also welcome if you're travelling with one child.

  Buscamos una chica que:
  
  1. Cuida de mi hijo en casa, lo que puede implicar recogerlo del jardín, jugar con él, darle de comer y llevarlo al parque. A veces estaremos los tres juntos en casa.
  2. Ayuda con la limpieza o la organización del apartamento según sea necesario. Un día sería una limpieza a fondo, sin duda (aprox. 4 horas).
  
  Tienes que ser una persona a la que le gusten los niños pequeños, que sea paciente, le guste jugar y pueda prestarle atención exclusivamente a él cuando estén juntos.

  Unterkunft

  We live in an apartment in Split with 3 rooms, living room, dining room with an American kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. We’re in a walking distance to different supermarkets and coffee places. The old town and city center are a walking distance of 40 min and the bus stop is nearby if you want to go around by bus.
  
  You would stay with us in our home, you would have your own room with a single bed and wardrobes. You can use all the house as if you live here (except for our bedroom of course). We would provide you with the bedclothes, towel, and all the basics that you need for showering and cleaning yourself.
  
  We will probably share cooking, I would cook some days and you might cook others. our eating schedule is flexible so we can agree on how to coordinate. I eat a lot of salad, Im pescaterian, mostly vegetarian, but Noah eats meat

  Vivimos en un apartamento en Split de 3 habitaciones, salón, comedor con cocina americana y 2 baño. Estamos cerca de diferentes supermercados y cafeterías. El casco antiguo, el centro de la ciudad y la playa están a una distancia de 20 a 30 minutos a pie y la parada de autobús está a la vuelta de la esquina si desea desplazarse en autobús.
  
  Te alojarías con nosotros en nuestra casa, tendrías tu propia habitación con cama individual y armarios. Puedes usar toda la casa como si vivieras aquí (excepto nuestro dormitorio, por supuesto). Nosotros te proporcionaremos la ropa de cama, toalla y todo lo básico que necesitas para ducharte y asearte.
  
  Probablemente compartiremos la comida: yo cocinaría algunos días y tú otros. Nuestro horario de comidas es flexible, así que podemos coordinarnos. Como mucha ensalada, soy pesceteriana, casi siempre vegetariano, pero Noah come carne.

  We’re very open and friendly family, and everything at the house needs to be children friendly because my son safety is a top priority.
  
  We would only be comfortable of you to inviting somebody during the day to the house if we previously agree on it and you introduce that person to us before hand.
  
  We don’t mind that you are awake in the house until late if you don’t make strong noises. We usually sleep early.
  
  We expect you to clean after yourself like you would do in any other house so that we are all comfortable (e.g., if you cook or eat, that you leave clean what you have used). I do the same

  Somos una familia muy abierta y amistosa. Eso si, todo en la casa debe ser apto para niños porque la seguridad de mi hijo es una prioridad.
  
  Por lo mismo, sólo nos sentiríamos cómodos de que invitaras a alguien a la casa si lo acordamos previamente y nos lo presentas de antemano.
  
  No nos importa que estés despierta en casa hasta tarde si no haces ruidos fuertes. Dormimos temprano usualmente.
  
  Esperamos que sea limpia para que todos estemos cómodos, como en cualquier otra casa (por ejemplo, si cocinas o comes, que dejes limpio lo que hayas usado). Hacemos lo mismo nosotros
