  Hello,
  We are Casa Bella, a space located in Florencia Caquetá, the Golden Gate of the Colombian Amazon. It is located on the edge of the Cordillera Oriental (one of the three mountain ranges in
  Colombia), located in the Amazonian foothills. 4 people live here: Arbey,
  Lina, Kiara and Dante, as well as 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 mini pig, chickens, ducks and fishes.
  Our place is a farm of approximately 4 hectares. Life made us this gift at the end of 2019. It has been thought and dreamed of for a long time with the objective to be a central point where people from all over the world would come together and be caught by the “manigua” (magic of the Amazon jungle). We’ve now lived for 3 years in this place and to nourish this dream, we are building and working on the house, cabins, trails, orchards, crops, and reforesting some areas to make our territory a self-sustaining space.
  Our nest is located on top of a mountain, despite being only 7 kilometers from Florencia. The climate is very cool, because we have virgin forest that shelters us with its freshness and gives away its aromas throughout the year. We have an exceptional view where you can see the end of the mountain and the beginning of an endless valley.
  We have a great wealth of water resources and a variety of natural species. It's a rural zone in which panela (raw sugar) is produced from sugar cane as well as bananas, plantains, pildoros, tropical fruits such as arazá, cocona, copoazú, chontaduros, guamas of different species, sapotes, lemons, oranges... and other fruits that can be found in a magical way. It is an enriching experience to find them in any corner of our region depending on the seasons of the year.
  Very close to home it is easy to find: monkeys, toucans, parrots, birds of many species, squirrels and many more animals that allow us to enjoy their presence.
  Another highlight is that chemical fertilizers are not used in these areas and very few pesticides too.
  That is to say that culturally in this area our products are organic and healthy.
  Similarly, our area called “Agua Bonita” has "neighbors", people who are very kind and with great capacity to share their family, social and cultural experiences that are very valuable.
  Time depends on how much one enjoys doing any activity ; if one is very happy, time flows faster. When one decides to exchange cultural experiences, sharing becomes very pleasant and on top of that there is a very wide offer in our home and in our region, which should be enjoyed little by little and without eagerness.
  
  MINIMUM TIME REQUESTED : ONE MONTH
  It is also very important for us that our children Kiara and Dante share with visitors, in such a way that they are enriched by the narrations and stories, and they can broaden their ways of seeing and learning about multiculturalism, and learn new languages. For them, a longer time is very important, as these are memories and experiences that will mark their lives forever. For this very reason, we request a minimum stay of 1 month in our house.
  We would highly enjoy receiving English native speakers that could help Kiara learning English, which is her passion!

  Somos la Casa Bella, espacio ubicado en Florencia Caquetá, puerta de Oro de la Amazonia
  Colombiana. Está localizada sobre ramales de la cordillera Oriental (1 de las tres cordilleras de Colombia), ubicada en el pie de monte amazónico. Un lugar donde conviven 4 personas : Arbey, Lina, Kiara y Dante, 2 perros, 2 gatos, 1 mini pig, gallinas, patos y peces.
  Nuestro lugar es una parcela de 4 hectáreas aproximadamente, fue un regalo de la vida que nos llegó a finales del año 2019 y ha sido pensado y soñado desde hace mucho tiempo con el objetivo de ser un punto de llegada donde confluyen personas de todo el mundo que quieran dejarse atrapar por la manigua (magia de la selva amazónica). Apenas 3 años viviendo en este lugar y además de estar construyendo sueños, también estamos en construcción y adecuaciones físicas como la casa, cabañas, senderos, huertas, cultivos, embellecimiento y reforestación de algunas
  zonas con el fin de hacer de nuestro territorio un espacio auto sostenible.
  Nuestro nido está ubicado en lo alto de una montaña, a pesar de estar a solo 7 kilómetros de
  Florencia. El clima es muy fresco, pues tenemos selva virgen que nos abriga con su frescura y nos regala sus aromas durante todo el año. Tenemos una vista excepcional en donde se puede apreciar el fin de la montaña y el inicio de un valle sin fin.
  Contamos con una gran riqueza en recursos hídricos y variedad de especies naturales. Es una zona agrícola en la que se produce especialmente panela a partir de la caña de azúcar así como bananos, plátanos, píldoros, frutas tropicales como el arazá, cocona, copoazú, chontaduros, guamas de diferentes especies, zapotes, limones, naranjas… y otras frutas que es preferible encontrarlas de manera mágica, ya que finalmente es un experiencia enriquecedora al encontrarlas en cualquier rincón de nuestra región en algunas temporadas del año.
  Al caminar muy cerca de casa es fácil encontrar: monos, tucanes, loros, pájaros de muchas
  especies, ardillas y muchos más animales que nos permiten disfrutarlos de su presencia.
  Para resaltar, en estas zonas no se usan fertilizantes químicos y en muy bajo porcentaje pesticidas agrícolas, es decir que culturalmente en esta zona sus productos son orgánicos y biosaludables. De igual forma, nuestra vereda llamada Agua Bonita, cuenta con “vecinos”, personas que son muy amables y con gran capacidad de compartir sus experiencias familiares, sociales, culturales que son muy valiosas.
  
  
  TIEMPO MÍNIMO DE ESTADÍA REQUERIDO: 1 MES
  El tiempo es relativo a lo bien que se pasa realizando cualquier actividad, si estás muy feliz el tiempo fluye más rápido. Cuando se decide intercambiar vivencias culturales se hace muy agradable compartir, además que existe una oferta muy amplia en nuestro hogar y en nuestra región, la cual es necesario disfrutarla poco a poco y sin afán.
  También es muy importante para nosotros el compartir de nuestros hijos Kiara y Dante con los visitantes, de tal manera que se enriquezcan con las narraciones e historias, amplíen sus formas de ver y conocer la multiculturalidad y aprendan nuevos idiomas. Para ellos es de mucha importancia un tiempo más prolongado, puesto que quedan más recuerdos y vivencias que marcarán sus vidas. Es por esta razón que solicitamos una estadía en nuestra casa mínimo de 1 mes.
  Estamos muy contentos de recibir personas que hablan Inglés como idioma nativo para ayudar a Kiara con el inglés, que es su pasión!

  1. Discovering and breathing the Amazon fresh air Amazon with different climates, reliefs, natural landscapes, waterfalls, majestic crystal clear rivers, canyons, indigenous communities, local cuisine.
  2. Cultural exchange with native people of the region, with social and community experience.
  3. Share with children and adolescents with traditional and other educational processes.
  4. Live with a native family, made up of a 38-year-old father, a philosopher and teacher, a of
  29-year-old mother who’s a teacher and housewife, a 9-year-old daughter with a lot of creativity and passionate about English, handcuffs fabrics, mandalas and dreamcatchers, fabric paintings and who’s educated and self-trained from home ; and a 6-year-old son, an excellent conversationalist, who is the
  host of our house.
  5. Learn about the cultural processes in the production of panela and the crops of the area.
  6. Know stories and narratives from the protagonists as well as other stories from our country.
  7. Unique and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
  8. Practice and strengthen Spanish.
  9. Learn to dance, cook, knit crochet and mandalas, dream catchers, mostacilla jewels, paint on fabric, decorate, share music, ride horses and much more..
  
  Si quieres ser parte de nuestro proyecto, te aseguramos:
  1. Abrirse la posibilidad de conocer y respirar aire puro en la Amazonia con diferentes climas,
  relieves, paisajes naturales, cascadas, ríos cristalinos majestuosos, cañones, comunidades
  indígenas, gastronomía regional en muy poco tiempo y a bajo costo.
  2. Intercambio cultural con personas nativas de la región, con experiencia social y comunitaria.
  3. Compartir con niños y adolescentes con un proceso educativo tradicional y otros
  diferenciadores.
  4. Convivir con una familia nativa, conformada por papá de 38 años filósofo y docente, mamá de 29 años docente pedagoga y ama de casa, hija de 9 años con mucha creatividad y apasionada por el inglés, los tejidos de manillas, mándalas y atrapasueños, pinturas en tela y con experiencia educativa auto formativa desde casa y un hijo de 6 años, excelente conversador y quien es el anfitrión de nuestra casa.
  5. Aprender sobre los procesos culturales en la elaboración de la panela y los cultivos de la región.
  6. Conocer historias y narraciones desde los protagonistas así como también otras historias de nuestro país.
  7. Amaneceres y atardeceres únicos y hermosos.
  8. Practicar y fortalecer el español.
  9. Aprender a bailar, cocinar, tejer crochet, tejer mándalas, atrapasueños, manillas en mostacilla, pintar en tela, decorar, compartir música, montar a caballo.

  Unterkunft

  This site is still under construction, but we offer 2 hosting options so far:
  1. A room made of wood, located on one side of the house, which has 2 single beds of
  1 meter, with respective mattress, sheets, blankets and mosquito net, electricity and
  outlets for charging electronic devices.
  2. A tent for two people with a mattress, sheets and blankets, settled inside our house. Can serve for double or single accommodation.
  3. A bathroom which is located outside the house, with a toilet, shower, laundry and water.
  4. Laundry is on charge of the volunteers.
  5. A minimum support of 5 hours a day is requested from Monday to Friday, which will be adjusted to other days according to the activities that are planned. The weekends will be of free destination for part of the volunteers.
  6. The diet is varied with vegetables, fruits and protein of animal origin. We offer
  three meals a day, which will be prepared with the support of volunteers, as well as
  coordinating the preparation of other meals with the neighbors.
  7. It is easy to get fruits and vegetables in the city for those who prefer this type of food,
  but the cost and preparation of them are the responsibility of whoever consumes it.
  8. The house has Wi-Fi that will be shared.
  9. We have 1 car and 1 motorcycle for family use and depending on the circumstances, the volunteers may use them, with financial contribution and prior agreement.
  
  Este sitio está en proceso de construcción, por tanto ofrecemos 2 opciones de alojamiento:
  1. En una habitación en madera, ubicada a un costado la casa, que cuenta con 2 camas sencillas de 1 metro, con respectiva colchoneta, sabanas, cobijas y toldillo, cuenta con energía eléctrica y
  tomacorrientes para cargar aparatos electrónicos.
  2. Compartir dentro de nuestra casa, con 1 carpa para dos personas con colchoneta, sabanas y cobijas. Ya sea para acomodación doble o sencilla, ya sea el caso.
  3. Existe un baño social, el cual está ubicado fuera de la casa y tiene servicio de sanitario, ducha, lavadero y agua.
  4. Los elementos de aseo corren por cuenta de los voluntarios.
  5. Se solicita un apoyo mínimo de 5 horas diarias de lunes a viernes, las cuales serán ajustadas a otros días según las actividades que se planeen. Los fines de semana serán de libre destinación por parte de los voluntarios.
  6. La alimentación es variada, se consume vegetales, frutas y proteína de origen animal. Se
  asegura las tres comidas al día, las cuales serán preparadas con el apoyo de los voluntarios, al igual que coordinar la preparación de otros alimentos con los vecinos.
  7. Es fácil conseguir frutas y vegetales en la ciudad para quien prefiera este tipo de alimentación, pero la consecución y la preparación de los mismos corren por cuenta de quien lo consuma.
  8. La casa cuenta con wifi que será compartido.
  9. Tenemos 1 carro y 1 moto de uso familiar y según las circunstancias los voluntarios se podrán beneficiar los cuales podrán aportar económicamente para su disfrute, con previo acuerdo.
