  I have a piece of land by the river and then scrub land on a hillside, in Portugal, I have various ideas to be self sufficient and hopefully to provide a space for others to enjoy. With plans for various workshops, I am aiming to be part of the developing eco tourism in the area.

  This is a chance to learn about local environment and living with nature, especially the river habitats. Also chance to learn about living a low impact, sustainable way. Not quite off grid. Can also help in the sharing information of yurt frame making, gardening and crafts.

  Arbeit

  Help is required in building with local materials, especially clay for two structures. Cement and brick also to be used. Any woodworkers or carpenters for various projects. Manual work.

  Unterkunft

  Small camper van for worker. Shared toilet and shower facilities. There is electricity, mains water and internet. Food is mainly what is growing in the garden, breakfast and main meal provided. I do not like tobacco smoke and heavy drinkers on site.

  Bus service to local city, 10 minute walk away. Containes all amenities. Use of road bike if suitable. Lots of local history and markets etc.
