  Hi. I live in a typical Basque farmhouse that I have been restoring for 20 years. I would like to house good people in exchange for help with workaway. It is also my goal to meet people as a cultural exchange and that we can learn a little from each other. The farmhouse is a typical Basque house built in 1900. It is practically renovated but there is always some work to do. The help to be carried out would be oriented to construction in general as well as to maintenance and production work typical of an ecological farm, following some principles of permaculture. The environment is very nice and quiet. It is located in the Basque mountains 6 km from the town of Elgóibar.
  
  Hola. Vivo en un típico caserío Vasco que estoy restaurando desde hace 20 años. Me gustaría alojar a buena gente a cambio de ayuda con workaway. También es mi objetivo conocer gente como un intercambio cultural y que podamos aprender un poco unos de otros. El caserío es una típica casa vasca construida en el año 1900.Esta prácticamente renovada pero siempre hay algún trabajo que hacer. Los trabajos a realizar estarían orientados a la construcción en general así como a trabajos de mantenimiento y producción tipicos de una finca ecológica, siguiendo algunos principios de la permacultura. El entorno es muy agradable y tranquilo. Esta situado en los montes vascos a 6 km de la población de Elgóibar.

  Unterkunft

  Hamlet. Private room. Shared bathroom and kitchen. The farmhouse is my residence but I work outside the home so I only spend part of the day. It is important to know that the farmhouse is 6 km away from the nearest town, so if they do not have their own transport, the volunteers' stay would be directed to staying on the farm for the majority of their stay.
  
  Caserío. Habitación privada. Baño y cocina compartidos. El caserío es mi residencia pero yo trabajo fuera de casa por lo que solo estoy parte del día. Es importante saber que el caserío esta alejado de la población más cercana 6kms ,así que de no tener transporte propio la estancia de los voluntarios estaría dirigida a permanecer en la finca la mayoría del tiempo que dure su estancia.

  In their free time, the volunteers, in addition to enjoying the house itself, have hiking options. On the weekend you could visit San Sebastián or Bilbao, both just 50 km away with public transport available. I offer to show them places on weekends according to availability and tastes of each one.
  
  En su tiempo libre, los voluntarios, además de disfrutar de la misma casa tienen opciones de hacer senderismo. El fin de semana podrían visitar San Sebastián o Bilbao, ambos a escasos 50 km con transporte público disponible. Yo me ofrezco a enseñarles lugares los fines de semana según disponibilidad y gustos de cada uno.
