  Beschreibung

  We, Sabine and Michael, are a married couple in our late 50s.
  Our children are living in France and Mexico.
  We love to explore and travel, have experience in the digital nomad lifestyle and are both working.
  Sabine is taking care of her father joseph, who lives with us.
  She is an educator working with difficult youngsters.
  Michael is an IT professional, software development and networking, still doing home office as freelancer.
  Our house was built by Sabine's parents and is located at the edge of town.
  We' ve extended the bungalow with living room under the roof and a new bathroom.
  Still there are lots of changes we want to do in DIY, but time is limited.
  We are active: daily jogging and bicycle tours.
  Sabine likes water sports.
  There are some guitars, harmonicas and saxophones waiting to be used again.
  Michael got a new saxophone last year and is training daily.
  We hope to do some sessions together in the garden this summer.
  Michael is a friend of high tec, so our house is smart. Voice control, intelligent lightning, home cinema and so on.
  Spending too much time on one of the computers, he uses them private for family ancestry resesrch.
  Both of us play RPG games. Besides we love tabletop games as well.
  Chess is Michael's favourite.
  We always tried to learn some basics of the language that is spoken in the countries we visited.
  Actually we train our French.
  We got a Maltesian baby dog.
  
  So we are looking foreward making new friends as a host now.

  You are integrated in the family life, so Your German language will improve.
  Also there is a lot of Bavarian culture like the cuisine, the Biergardens, the festivals.
  The Bavarian countryside is beautiful.
  Michael can teach You some IT stuff like building websites, doing crypto currencies or family research.
  And: You might find new friends.

  Arbeit

  There are lots of small projects in the house and the garden.
  None of them is urgent, some are to be started when ressources are available.
  So we want to build a garden house and plant some new bushes. Maybe we will equip some solar panels.
  The ceilings could need some attention. New colour on the wooden panels in the living room would be nice.
  The ground floor needs refurnishing some of the inside doors and new colour on the windows.
  We want to renovate 1 bath room and 1 toilet room.
  
  Saxopone and guitar lessons as well as french language teaching are always welcome.
  Joseph is 96 years old and does not need a caretaker, but he needs sometimes help with TV and finding his glasses.

  We are learning French with Babbel and are still beginners (A2 level). Bavarian and German is spoken.

  Unterkunft

  You will stay in the house and should feel at home.
  The guest room will be Your private space (25sqm). It has a large double bed, wardrobes, table and chairs.
  Joseph got his own bathroom. We share the new second bathroom with our guests.
  There is a very big flat screen in the living room and another screen available.
  Sound is in every room. Open air cinema, fireplace and pool are in the garden, sauna in the cellar.
  The modern kitchen has a huge fridge.
  We eat pescetarian but do not expect our guests to do the same.
  If possible we eat together at lunch time.
  Brunch is always welcome at the weekend.
  If there is time Michael loves to cook several dishes, French style, preparing food half the day.
  You are welcome to cook whenever You like.
  We can go shopping together.
  You will be offered all the Bavarian cuisine.

  Was noch ...

  The Neuötting city center is a 5 minute walk. It has an old town square, Biergardens, cafes,..
  The Altötting city center is 5 minutes by bike.
  More culture, like jazz festivals or castle festivals, are found in Burghausen and other spots. (10 km).
  We normally go there by bike, we have 2 E-Bikes.
  Altötting is famous for it's black madonna and Burghausen for the longest castle in Europe.
  The Bavarian sea Lake Chiemsee, and the cities of Salzburg and Munic are 1 hour away.
  
  Nature is just next door of our house. You can walk along the river Inn.
  There are lots of birds, also in our garden.
  One lake is a 5 minutes walk. A "secret" spot. Not many people.
  There are 3 other lakes within 5-10 minutes bicycle range. All of them very beautyful.
  We have 2 standup-boards.
  We 've got some treasure hunting equipment.
  There is public transportation by bus and train.
  Since we love beeing active we can also go together to some distant places.
