  Beschreibung

  We are a Dutch couple who have been living in Canada for many years. We are proud to call Naramata our home. It is a beautiful small town about 12 km from Penticton BC.Our house is fairly big and recently our house has turned into a small "farm". We have two dogs ( a 4 year old Bordercollie mix Jasper and a 3 year old Kind Charles mix Winnie). We also have three chickens, two roosters , a cat and two bunnies Pip and Squick.
  
  Since this summer we have our 11 year old "bonus" daughter living with us and we decided to homeschool her since the tradional schoolsystem doesn't have the reources to assist with her with her learning- and behaviour challenges.
  We also like to start to do some renovations in our house so given all this information and the fact we are getting older any help we can get will be appreciated.
  
  We live in the beautiful Okanagan with lots of fruit trees, wineries and good food. There is plenty of opportunity for hiking, skiing, snowboarding, enjoying the wild life such as deer, coyotes, black bears, etc
  
  We are looking for people who enjoy kids, animals, nature, different cultures etc .If you are a "city person" Naramata is not for you, but if you like the outdoors (hiking, skiing, snow shoeing etc) then Naramata could be a good fit!
  Can you see yourself helping with teaching a 11 year old girl, taking the dogs for a walk, help out around the house and inside the house then we maybe the place for you!
  
  We are hoping to find people who like to stay a little bit longer ( 4 weeks or more) , have a calm personality (because our daughter will compensate that :), enjoy animals, like to socialize but can also be on their own..
  
  If you have a Criminal Record Check that will be awesome.

  One of our sons went to Europe for 7 months and was involved in several workaways. This gave us to the idea to see if there is someone out there who likes to help out.

  If you are looking for a dynamic, city style environment Naramata will NOT be the place for you.....BUT if you are looking for a low key, relaxed beautiful environment then the Okanagan might exactly be what you are looking for!
  
  Apex Mountain is about 45 minutes away from Penticton where you can enjoy all kinds of winter sports. Penticton is located between two lakes which makes it an attractive town for tourists who enjoy sunny water and water recreation. Rock climbing, biking, hiking, fishing, diving are some of the other sports people enjoy here.....
