Beschreibung
30 people decided to join together to buy this place and create a small world. It is an invitation to relaxation, conviviality and nature. We want to build together the ideal place for spending time out of the big world. Holiday village, hôtel, accommodation center with 50 rooms, a bar/restaurant, a nightclub....
Located at the foot of Tourmalet, 10 minutes from the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees, this holiday village is surrounded by greenery. You will find the pretty little Adour river in the garden and if you go up it, the walk is exceptional with waterfalls and many other magical places to rest. You will come across cows, sheep and birds everywhere. A 15-minute drive away you can enjoy Bagnere de Bigorre, its thermal baths and spa, its lively little market, its preserved pedestrian streets with a multitude of small shops. Without forgetting climbing, canyoning, via ferrata, tree climbing and the numerous hikes which are often located less than half an hour from the center.
It is an atypical project, our key words are Intercultural, intergenerational, well-being, art, meeting, sharing, nature, respect... We seek in the details to create a welcoming atmosphere inviting beautiful interactions with the development, nature and others. We sincerely advocate kindness and conviviality to make every moment spent at La Baleine Blanche an exceptional moment.

Arbeit
PLEASE PICK ONE OR MORE SPECIFIC OPTION(S): The goal is to mix the options you choose with the general missions of the place.
Volunteers get: access to a kitchen (with a food budget) or meal directly ready when we have customers, a washing machine.
OPTION 1 : ART, design and décoration tasks
OPTION 2 : LAND ART/ STREET ART , We would like step by step to create an "open air land art museum". It is also about street art, pannels in the garden to explain nature and some painting in some walls, corners or pillars.
OPTION 3: Gardening and permaculture.
OPTION 4 : Sometimes we make special non-profit project, social, cultural, underground events....just ask.

This place is literally amazing. No words. Sustainable bungalows all over, mushroom farm, yoga every day, permaculture going on, tree houses, arts...all in one, in a lagoon right next to the beach, in a lovely island, with of course, the best vibes!

I took care of Selma ( one year and a half baby) and loved her! They are a lovely and easy going family.
The place is well located, near the beach and the main street, and has lot of space to chill out.
making a mushroom house, gardening and some artwork too. The lagoon is a laid back tropical paradise but the best part is the smiley Thai French Cambodian family that made us feel so welcome! I miss them already!
