Beschreibung
We run a friendly language school in Tétouan where international Workawayers can take part in a genuine cultural exchange, share their English or French, and connect with local students and teachers.
Workawayers support our existing teaching team through conversation practice, small activities, cultural exchange, and occasional language sessions. They are not expected to replace our locally employed teachers.
In return, Workawayers can experience everyday Moroccan life, practice Darija, discover Tétouan and northern Morocco, and share their own language, culture, and experiences with us.
We welcome friendly, respectful, open-minded people who enjoy languages, meeting people, and cultural exchange. -

Travellers can experience everyday Moroccan life while connecting with local students, teachers, and the community. They can practice Darija, discover Moroccan food, traditions, and customs, and learn about life in Tétouan and northern Morocco.
They can also share their own language, culture, and experiences with local students while making new friends and gaining a genuine cultural experience. -

Arbeit
We have 5 locally employed female English teachers who teach our regular classes.
We welcome Workawayers to assist students, practice English, and share their culture and experiences. Workawayers do not replace our teachers or take responsibility for regular classes.
Activities include:
English conversation practice
Supporting students in small groups
Conversation clubs
Cultural exchange
Sharing English, culture, and personal experiences
Workawayers help 4 hours per day according to an agreed schedule.
We provide 2 meals per day and accommodation during the stay. -

Workawayers will have the opportunity to experience everyday Moroccan culture by spending time with our local teachers, students, and community. During their stay, they can practice Moroccan Darija and Standard Arabic, learn about Moroccan traditions, food, daily life, customs, and local culture. We also enjoy learning from our Workawayers and encourage them to share their own language, culture, traditions, and experiences with us. This is a two-way cultural exchange: sharing knowledge, meeting people, practicing languages, and experiencing life in Morocco. -
Unterkunft
Female Workawayers stay in a shared studio apartment with space for up to 3 women.
The apartment has:
3 beds
Kitchenette
Wi-Fi
Bathroom with hot water
Washing machine available in the neighboring house
The apartment is approximately 3 km from the school.
Getting between the accommodation and school
Workawayers can travel between the apartment and school using local public transportation, which is available close to the accommodation.
The journey is approximately 7 minutes depending on traffic and the transport used.
We will explain the route and transportation options when the Workawayer arrives and help them become familiar with the journey.
Workawayers are responsible for their own local transportation. -

During their time off, volunteers can explore Tétouan and northern Morocco, including the Medina, local markets, cafés, restaurants, beaches, and cultural sites. They can also visit nearby destinations such as Fes, Chefchaouen, and Tangier, or enjoy nature, hiking, and local activities.
