We initiated the creation of Eco village in 2012 and since then we have covered quite a distance though we have lots to cover. Its made in 2 acres of land, with cottages, ponds, farm land, domesticated animals and local villagers working.. Its surrounded on one side by the Gomur river and three sides by local villages. We are a tour company which brings people to go to the tiger reserve and have people coming in from all parts of the world, hence we want to create a place which can be a centre of skill exchange, Learn while Teaching is the idea.
The idea is to make the eco village self sustainable, and a place where people from different parts of the world and come and feel at home...Have a place for free to stay and work and evolve...

We want people who are motivated to bring a change in different ways, in radical ways and in their own ways.people who would help in any way possible..for example teaching the local villagers and training them in waste management, waste segregation, teaching languages , music, painting boat, planting trees, creating tree houses or tents with recycled stuff, taking care of our water buffalo, goats, cows, chickens , goose and ducks.. And also volunteers with expertise of making windmills or similar apparatus to make green world..we need people who would make small shows for villagers to make them aware about the evils of plastic ..
We need green entrepreneurs to come and create more green entrepreneurs

We have dorms huts and tents in the eco village..there are also sleeping cabins in our boats...

So we are a bunch of guys who have created this place which seems to be a world away , though its only about 4 hours from Kolkata.Its a picturesque village, with paddy fields on one side and mangrove jungles on one side..we have had friends come over and volunteer and help us with different things and had a great time, some of them living for more than a month or so.. In free time ,one can go for bird watching, fishing in the ponds or river, also can go for a day long toger safari, only when they volunteer for more than 15 days and they have to pay the entry fees to the park..Please note that this is not a free tour opportunity, so please do not expect any tour during your stay, it is solely at our discretion...
We are urgently looking for yoga trainers and alternative therapists...!!we are also looking for someone who can train and take care of our newly arrived horse, lucy....!!!!

Everything is well done so it is sometime difficult to know how to be useful but instead a huge freedom to do whatever can contribute to the wellness of this place, help the staff there or start new projects.
