The Project:
A hotel in the heart of Tepoztlan, surrounded by vast green areas. It features 15 rooms surrounded by Trees and Mountains. This space is in the process of becoming a "Soul Sanctuary" and we aim to create a community aligned with that vision. Welcome here!
Tasks include art, woodworking, photo and video, building, creative, operative, DIY projects. We would love to see your portfolio.

Un hotel en el corazón de Tepoztlán, rodeado de amplias áreas verdes. Cuenta con 15 habitaciones rodeadas de árboles y montañas. Este espacio está en proceso de convertirse en un "Santuario para el Alma", y nuestro objetivo es crear una comunidad y espacio alineados con esa visión. ¡Bienvenidos aquí!

Tepoztlan is the belly of Mexico, surrounded by mountains, mystics and magic. In the first glance, being here is adventuring into the center of Mexican mythology.
We are surrounded by mountains and a couple pyramids, we also have a tourism agency, so you might both participate in hikes and photo sessions of the hikings, and also you can go directly with the local guides for a nice walk.
The Tepozteco Pyramid is really close, a beutiful 45 minute walk through the mountains and forest, all the way up to the temple in the top of the mountain.
Amatlan is also 10 minutes away from us, and there you find both the town where QUETZALCOATL the highest prehispanic deity, is said to be borned as human, and (in season) waterfalls, water pools and adventures in the jungle.
Theres many cultural centers and plazas around, both for meeting more people or for taking classes.
We are also hosts of Wim Hof method workshops so if there are some while you are around, you can join freely for some breathwork and icebath. -
Arbeit
-Photography and video: We need support to create new photographic content for networks and for dissemination (Short stays, about 1 week). Also we have a youtube channel and videographers with experience might be of much help for new content.
-ART and DIY Projects, we are developing a new concept for the area, we welcome artists, mural painters, woodcrafters that can add on new layers to the space,
-Web design and digital content: We also need help with the design of the webpage and the mobile version of it.
-Painting, Murals
-Gardening Skills or woodworking: We are always building stuff around so you might be helping us around
-Cooking/Cleaning
Accommodation: We can have as much as 2 volunteers at the same time. We have 1 private room with a double bed and a single bed, we prefer couples or having a single volunteers at a time, so the space is more comfy. It includes 1 meal a day, the days of work,
Helping hours: Normally 5 days of 4 hours, but it depends on each project, usually is much less. But we ask volunteers to be open to as much as 20 hours a week, usually around 10

-Fotografía y video: Necesitamos apoyo para crear nuevo contenido fotográfico para redes y difusión (estadías cortas, de aproximadamente 1 semana). También contamos con un canal de YouTube, por lo que videógrafos con experiencia serían de gran ayuda para generar nuevo contenido.
-Arte y proyectos DIY: Estamos desarrollando un nuevo concepto para el área y damos la bienvenida a artistas, muralistas y artesanos de madera que puedan aportar nuevas capas creativas al espacio.
-Diseño web y contenido digital: También necesitamos ayuda con el diseño de la página web y su versión móvil.
-Alojamiento: Podemos recibir hasta 2 voluntarios al mismo tiempo. Contamos con 1 habitación privada con una cama doble y una cama individual. Preferimos parejas o voluntarios individuales, para que el espacio sea más cómodo. Incluye 1 comida al día durante los días de trabajo.
-Horario de trabajo: Normalmente son 5 días de 4 horas, pero depende de cada proyecto. Usualmente es mucho menos, pero pedimos a los voluntarios estar abiertos a trabajar hasta 20 horas por semana, aunque generalmente son alrededor de 10. -

In tepoztlan we are really close to the downtown, you can get here walking from the downtown or bus station, or in public transportation or taxi.
