  Family of 6, with four kids - 15, 13, 10 and 8 - with a passion for books and music and discovering new things. We are looking for someone who is willing to give us a hand with the kids, in particular the younger ones, in the afternoon, and who can help them (and us!) practice English, or German, or even French or Spanish. Some help cooking and/or around the house would be very appreciated, but it's a plus, not a necessity. If you play an instrument bring it over, and if you can teach singing, or anything else... that would be lovely!

  Turin is a fascinating place, a city to visit and discover, and it is close to the Alps, but also to the see, you can reach both within two hours by train. Milan is 45 minutes away, and in less than four you're in Rome. In the family we are fluent in English and French, and can understand a little bit of Spanish, and two of us are studying German. Adults work and travel for work quite a lot, have a lot of interests and curiosity for other cultures, kids are very much into music (they've all started playing when they were very small) and are open and friendly.

  Arbeit

  We're a family of 6, with many interests and a need to have some help with the kids, which adds to the curiosity and will to sharing our life with someone coming from a different country, and practicing a language... ideally English, but German and French or Spanish would be ok. We really hope that the workawayer will become quickly an elder sister (or brother) for our kids, a friend for us, integrating fully in our life.
  The two elder children are fairly independent, they're almost 15 and 13 and go around by themselves, they mostly need to practice language skills, and will appreciate a chat and some support with homework, sometimes. The younger ones are 10 and 8, and they need more attention: they go to school from about 8 am, two days a week they finish at 2 pm (wednesday and friday) and the rest of the week at 4.30 pm. In the afternoon there are music and sport, and time with friends, or studying, or... doing nothing. On weekends we're often out of town, in the mountains, and the workawayer is welcome, but can of course stay in Turin, or explore Italy, or whatever.
  Basically we will need a hand in the afternoon during the week, and eventually sometimes in the evening, or in the weekend, but we'll find together a good rhythm for all of us.
  Of course some help around the house (especially with the kids' stuff) and some cooking would be appreciated, as well as any extra skills, arts and crafts, music... anything we can learn from you could be fun!

  Unterkunft

  We stay in a very big apartment in central Turin, close to all services and public transport, with a market and plenty of night life just out of the door, downstairs. Museums, cinemas, theaters and also the hills are all at walking distance. We can offer a big independent room, with a big bed, wardrobe, table, chairs and armchair, and the almost exclusive use of a bathroom (almost because the washing machine is there...)

  We can help you find a language school, or explore town, or even help you organize trips around Italy, we're so used to traveling that it's really easy for us... and Turin and its surroundings are so nice that there will be no problem in finding nice things to do!
