  Hello. I’m a Turkish-American psychologist and a tai chi, bagua, qigong and meditation instructor and
  practitioner. I live in a 40-house compound on a gorgeous hilltop overlooking the Turkish Turquoise coast across the bay of Kalkan, with beautiful vistas of the Mediterranean sea, surrounding mountains, and nearby Greek islands. My house is situated on the Lycian hiking trail route and close to several antiquities from Greek, Roman and Lycian eras, as well as a 5-minute drive to local pristine coves (there’s also a swimming pool in the compound if you’re feeling lazy). I’m a 10-minute drive into the town of Kalkan and 40 minutes to Kas, where you can take a day trip via ferry to Greek islands. I live with my 3 cats Mr. Lemon, Lemonade and Sugar.

  I’m looking for a fit, non smoking feline lover who can help around the house with some handyman/handywoman jobs-eg painting, varnishing, repairs, gardening, cat care, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning etc. This workaway is best enjoyed by someone who is looking for a quiet, meditative retreat in natural surroundings and who can also be adventurous and independent enough to navigate the local routes and public buses etc. on their own should they wish to do some sightseeing on their off-time.

  Room and board provided (you prepare your own food but I’ll buy the groceries). You will have your own private room and private bathroom.

  There are plenty of places to sightsee within 10-20 kilometers, such as ancient Patara, Xanthos and Letoon. I’m also located on the Lycian hiking trail, which spans several hundred kilometers. And of course, there are several coves, beaches and beach clubs to swim in the crisp clear turquoise waters of the Mediterranean.
