With my wife Brigitte and a team of volunteers, we are creating a third place in the Vendée.
We like to receive people, we like to exchange with new people. We practice an inclusive welcome. Our project consists in restoring an old building which will be the center of reception and activities of the association. There are other projects such as: the creation of a permaculture vegetable garden, a park with ornamental plantings, the restoration of an old wash house. The site is located in Montournais, in the Bocage Vendéen. It is a completely secluded place, in the countryside. All around is the luxuriant nature in the beautiful season, a brook very close to the house and the 3 gardens. You can come to rest, you can camp, you can help out, you can have a meal, you can play music around the campfire, or you can hike in the surrounding countryside. Currently we have a living house with two bedrooms. And also a very cosy caravan!

Avec mon épouse Brigitte ainsi qu'une équipe de bénévoles, nous sommes en train de créer un tiers lieu en Vendée.
Nous aimons recevoir des gens, nous aimons échanger avec de nouvelles personnes. Nous pratiquons un accueil inclusif. Notre projet consiste à restaurer une ancienne construction qui sera le centre d'accueil, et des activités de l'association. Il existe d'autres projets tels que : la création d'un potager en permaculture, un parc avec des plantations ornementales, la restauration d'un ancien lavoir. Le site se trouve à Montournais, dans le Bocage Vendéen. C'est un endroit complétement retiré, en pleine campagne. Tout autour c'est la nature luxuriante à la belle saison, un ruisseau tout près de la maison et des 3 jardins. On peut venir pour se reposer, on peut camper, on peut venir donner un coup de main, participer à un repas, jouer de la musique autour d'un feu de camp ou encore faire des randonnées dans la campagne environnante. Actuellement nous disposons d'une maison de vie avec deux chambres. Et aussi une caravane bien accueillante!

Unterkunft
In a guest room (in our house). In camping or caravan. The beds are of good quality. Everyone is responsible for their own housekeeping.
We have dry toilets inside the house and also outside. A bathroom is available.
Meals are organized on a rotating basis when possible, and at fixed times when possible. We can cook exotic, vegan or non-vegan food. All this in a joyful and good time. Relaxation times are regularly arranged, in connection with the cultural activities.

En chambre d'hôte ( dans notre maison). En camping ou en caravane. Les lits sont de bonne qualité. Chacun est responsable de son ménage.
Nous disposons de toilettes sèches à l'intérieur de la maison de vie et aussi à l'extérieur. Une salle de bain est à disposition.
Les repas sont organisés à tour de rôle quand c'est possible, et à heure fixe quand c'est possible. On peut cuisiner exotique, végan ou non végan. Le tout dans la joie et la bonne heure. Des temps de détentes sont aménagés régulièrement, en lien avec les activités culturelles.

Workawayers will be able to visit the surrounding countryside, two castles within a radius of 10 kilometers, the Réaunmur science mansion. The hiking trails near the site and our gardens.

Les workawayers pourrons visiter la campagne environnante, deux chateaux dans un périmètre de 10 kilométres, le manoir des sciences de Réaunmur. Le chemins de randonnées prés du site et de nos jardins.
