We have completed the first stage of an eco resort and learning centre in the mountains and close to world class surfing beaches, in Lombok , Indonesia. I am a British woman who is doing this project with some friends, from the UK and the USA.
The eco resort which will be an example of permaculture design, as well as ecologically regenerative design. We will also be a learning hub for such things as permaculture design, natural building techniques, deep ecology, degrowth, yoga, raw foods etc.
*Due to the number of messages we receive we are unable to reply to requests to stay for under one month. One month is our minimum stay.*

Volunteers will learn all about permaculture, green building techniques, mud building, natural plasters, green roof building, grey water systems, bio composting toilets, natural swimming ponds, organic gardening and much more. They will also be living as some of the first foreigners in a local village in Lombok so there is a huge opportunity for cultural exchange.
Volunteers will be able to learn all about local and indigenous building techniques through working directly with the locals. We will also be working with the local village in training how to make natural soaps, shampoos and other products for the resort. Volunteers can also help teach English to the local kids who often congregate at the property.
We are looking for volunteers to help us with our gardens and assisting with some community projects . We are also looking for someone to help us with our social media for a crowd funding campaign, which will include making a few short video clips and taking photos as well as promoting material on line.
We are looking for volunteers with some permaculture/farming knowledge.
Once the resort is finished we will also be offering workshops in green building techniques and so there may be opportunities to stay on full time in teaching positions. We are also close to world class surfing beaches for those who enjoy surfing.

Small rustic treehouse
We are within minutes from Mawi beach and Selong Belanak beach...both world class surfing beaches.....volunteers will need to beable to ride a motorbike. We are 20 minutes from the main town here Kuta where volunteers can go for night life and for restaurants (as the resort is isolated in the mountains and amenities are basic. Only nature lovers need apply!)
