Beschreibung
Hi fellow travelers, we are Konni from Germany and Marlon from Colombia. We met 7 years ago on the Caribbean coast of Colombia and started traveling together through South America. In 2018 we went to India and Vietnam to learn about the food.
During all those years we kept coming back to Puerto Escondido a small town on the coast of Oaxaca and finally made the decision to settle down here. In 2019 we opened our small restaurant, to bring Asien cuisine to the coast of Oaxaca.
In our free time, Marlon likes to practice box (you are more than welcome to join him), also he likes to play the drums. Konni likes to paint, especially colorful Mandalas. We love food so there will be a lot of good stuff for you to try.
We have been volunteering ourselves in a lot of different places and met incredible people and want to give this opportunity to someone else.

We are happy to share our kitchen knowledge with you. Also we can help you with practicing Spanish, English and German. You can try boxing or start an art project.
Arbeit
We are looking for proactive, independent people to help us with the daily work around the house, garden and restaurant. You must be a cat lover, since we are living with 4 of these beautiful creatures. Some knowledge of Spanish would be a plus.

Unterkunft
Our volunteers will have her/his own floor available: One big private room, equipped with a king size bed, a ceiling fan and some furnitures. There is also a private bathroom. On the floor, there is a huge terrace to practice yoga or other activities.
Our kitchen is very spacious and well equipped with everything you need.
Was noch ...
On your days off you can enjoy the beaches that are located in the regional area such as Chacahua, Mazunte and Zipolite. Busses are cheap and can get you almost anywhere you want to go.
We are also close to the mountains of San Jose del Pacífico.
You can join turtle releases, swim in rivers, visit waterfalls, go see bioluminescence, do yoga, temazcal and of course go surfing.
