  The family is made up of 4, Genís and Montse, and two dogs, Lio and Juliet. We live in an apartment located in a small town, very quiet, 5 minutes from a small town with all services. Both Genís and I work as firefighters 24 hours a day, so we work one day and three days off. We have a lot of free time that we dedicate to our furry companions and to play sports. We like to walk, bathe, run, cycle, climb and go to the gym, the area where we live allows us all this, we are well surrounded by nature. It is a very attractive area for climbers, as there are many sectors and very famous internationally: Camarassa, Sant Llorenç, Santa Linya 15 minutes away... Ager, Terradets, Collegats 1 hour or less. Even if you are not a climber, the area is spectacular, there are rivers and swamps for bathing and water activities, mid-mountain for trail running, mountain biking and hiking... we are located at the entrance to the Prepirineu and the Pirineu.
  
  La familia la formamos 4, Genís y Montse, y dos perros, Lio y Juliet. Vivimos en un piso situado en un pueblo pequeño, muy tranquilo, a 5 minutos de una ciudad pequeña con todos los servicios. Tanto Genís como yo trabajamos de bomberos en jornadas de 24h, por lo que un día trabajamos y tres días libramos. Tenemos bastante tiempo libre que dedicamos a nuestros compañeros peludos y a hacer deporte. Nos gusta pasear, bañarnos, correr, ir en bicicleta, escalar e ir al gimnasio, la zona donde vivimos nos permite todo esto, estamos bien rodeados de naturaleza. Es una zona muy atractiva para escaladores, pues hay muchos sectores y muy famosos a nivel internacional: Camarassa, Sant Llorenç, Santa Linya a 15 minutos... Ager, Terradets, Collegats a 1 hora o menos. Aunque no seas escalador, la zona es espectacular, hay ríos y pantanos para bañarse y hacer actividades acuáticas, media montaña para hacer trail, btt y excursionismo... estamos situados en la antesala del Prepirineu y el Pirineu.

  The most interesting thing about the area and our lifestyle is taking the opportunity to play sports in nature, we can share with you climbing equipment, road bikes and knowledge of the terrain that surrounds us. We speak Catalan and Spanish so you can also learn the language.
  
  Lo más interesante de la zona y de nuestro estilo de vida es aprovechar para hacer deporte en la naturaleza, podemos compartir con vosotros material de escalada, bicileta de carretera y conocimiento del terreno que nos rodea. Hablamos catalan y el castellano por lo que tambien podeis aprender el idioma.

  Arbeit

  We need a person who can take care of the two family dogs on the days that my partner's working day coincides with mine since we work 24 hours a day. The dogs have their routine and know how to stay home alone, so the job consists of taking three walks, giving them food and taking care of them. They are usually between 6 or 8 days a month, two days a week, the other days there is no work for you and you can invest your time in what you most want, join our activities or we can guide you around the territory.
  
  Necesitamos una persona que pueda hacerse cargo de los dos perros de la familia los días que coincide la jornada laboral de mi pareja con la mia ya que trabajamos 24h. Los perros tienen su rutina y saben quedarse solos en casa, por lo que el trabajo consiste en hacer tres paseos, darles la comida y tener cuidado de ellos. Suelen ser entre 6 o 8 días al mes, dos días a la semana, los otros días no hay trabajo para vosotros y podéis invertir el tiempo en lo que más os apetezca, sumaros a nuestras actividades o podemos guiaros por el territorio.

  Unterkunft

  We live in an 80 square meter flat. You will have a personal room with a sofa bed (it can be changed for a bed if you find it more comfortable) and closets. The flat has two bathrooms, both with showers. We will share kitchen, living room and office. The apartment has a lot of light, now in summer it is very hot in the area so we have air conditioning and fans. We have a terrace. We do not have TV or internet.
  
  Vivimos en un piso de 80 metros cuadrados. Tendreis una habitación personal con sofá cama (puede cambierse por cama si os parece mas comodo) y armarios. El piso tiene dos baños, ambos con ducha. Compartiremos cocina, salon-comedor y despacho. El piso tiene mucha luz, ahora en verano hace mucho calor en la zona por lo que disponemos de aire acondicionada y ventiladores. Tenemos terraza. No tenemos TV ni internet.

  The same town has a bar-restaurant, municipal swimming pools, paddle tennis court and artificial grass soccer field with free access. It has a train station that connects the town with the nearest city, Balaguer, 5 minutes away, and with Lleida, 25 minutes away. Lleida is the capital of the province and is connected to important cities such as Barcelona and Madrid via the AVE. The train line that passes through the town connects Lleida with the Pyrenees and the Parc Nacional d'Aigüestortes. The closest town, Balaguer, has all the services and can be reached by train or by bike.
  
  El mismo pueblo dispone de bar-restaurante, piscinas municipales, pista de pádel y campo de futbol de césped artificial con acceso libre. Tiene estación de tren que conecta el pueblo con la ciudad más cercana, Balaguer, a 5 minutos, y con Lleida, a 25 minutos. Lleida es capital de provincia y está conectada con ciudades importantes como Barcelona y Madrid a través del AVE. La línea de tren que pasa por el pueblo une Lleida con el Pirineo y el Parc nacional d'Aigüestortes. El pueblo más cercano, Balaguer tiene todos los servicios y se puede llegar con el tren o en bici.
