Hiiii! My situation has changed a bit since my original profile. I am mostly away now but my 2 flatmates, (1 from Argentina and 1 from Thailand) are here most of the time. I can accept workawayers who can cook for themselves, be self motivated and want a restful place to stay. You would need to be self motivated but would also have a lot of time to explore locally :) The work is mostly gardening and tidying up outside for now!

We are happy to help with improving English and local knowledge. We live close to the Alps to Ocean cycle way that runs from Mount Cook to Oamaru Harbour. We take regular trips to the river,lake and sea and love sharing these excursions with happy workawayers.

We have an interest in other cultures and ways of living. In the past we have enjoyed having people from around the world living with us. For a small town there is lots to explore including Steam Punk, Victorian heritage, The vanished world trail and the A2O track. We are non smokers and love adventures. Our family interests include hiking, Tennis, Basketball, Arts, cycling, dance, music and gymnastics.....(expect to see me standing on my head a lot). If you have no interest in chatting to children, let me know and we can arrange dates when they are away. 🙃

This Workaway is not a classic experience !
You have to be prepare :) lol, So many crazy thing to do, but its always funny !
The hosts are nice and friendly, and do the maximum for you. The children are really cool and playful.
Thats was a trully pleasure to stay 2 weeks with this family.
(And, you have to love cards games).
