Hi there, we are a french-morocan + British family of 4 living in Arcachon = me (single mom, brit in france since 2001) and 3 mini me's (frenchy/morocan/brits of 10yr,9yr and 3yrs) we landed in Arcachon nearly 10years ago . Yassine, the girls Dad (franco moroccan) moved out 3yrs ago, needing to take time out of a very full on family not being well, and unfortunatly has become more concentrated on his career so still isnt well, so he doesnt see the girls very much. Having been an ex-traveller myself, having loved crossing oceans and continents, I completely understand the practicalities on both sides helping/hosting that the workaway system has to offer having experienced both. I have helped along my way, and now hosted many a time too since finally settling on the south west coast of France. We love cooking, and sharing traveller stories. After spending so much familytime together during lockdown, it hit home how important it is to encourage the girls with languages and the want to travel too, as well as build their confidence and extra education, I would love to welcome a patient workaway, or couple/two friends, to spend time reading,playing and learning languages with them, particularly as life gets very busy balancing day to day life, work(i am a proud spa owner, but i work 7 full on days a week!), daddy time if he agrees, plus maintaining the flat on my own takes up a lot of time and energy.
Please feel free to contact me if you feel you could be that helping hand i need and would enjoy staying with us (be warned, the girls love singing and dancing and picnics at the beach!)

We are a very multicultural family being part french, part brit, part morocan, having tasted so many diferent traditions and cultures along our winding road so far that has lead us to the south west coast of france which is a stunning place with such history, architecture and loads to see and do! You wont be disapointed.

Unterkunft
We live in a 3 bed flat on 5th floor (with a lift), its within walking distance of town, beach and commodities - all less than a 1km.

The train station (Bordeaux is 45m direct train) is not far from home, where there are also electric cars available for hire. There are boat trips around and across the bay to Cap Ferret, the Ile aux oiseaux etc, all very worth doing, and a special mention about the largest sand-dund in Europe, la Dune du Pilat (12km away)
