  We are a Norwegian family of five living in Trondheim, with children born in 2010, 2012, and 2015. We also share our home with a energetic dog and eight chickens. Our house is located within walking distance of Trondheim city centre. Trondheim is a beautiful and vibrant city with plenty of cultural activities, as well as easy access to forests and mountains perfect for hiking and exploring nature.
  Although we are both Norwegian, we have lived, studied, and worked abroad, and we enjoy meeting people from different cultures.
  We have a large urban garden that requires maintenance and ongoing improvement. There are always projects happening here, and we appreciate help from someone who enjoys practical tasks and being outdoors.
  
  What We Offer
  You will stay in a private garden house with a beautiful view of the river. The house is newly built and equipped so you can cook some of your own meals. We also provide food, and we usually share several meals together.
  
  Tasks vary by season and interest, but may include:
  General gardening: weeding, pruning, planting, cutting small trees, watering, and helping maintain the garden.
  Animal care: walking the dog, cleaning the henhouse, collecting eggs, and taking care of the chickens.
  Outdoor tasks: scraping and painting, simple DIY tasks, small carpentry tasks.
  Household help: cleaning, tidying, laundry, and general upkeep.
  Cabin maintenance: We have a small cabin about 20 minutes from Trondheim that occasionally needs maintenance and assistance with small tasks.
  
  We appreciate helpers who are practical, flexible, positive and enjoy working both independently and sometimes together with us.
  Couples or friends travelling together (2 people) are very welcome. We are flexible regarding which days you prefer to work, as long as it adds up to about 5 hours per day, five days a week.
