I have recently moved in to my new home here in Beaujolais, France and I'm looking for general help with the maintenance of the property. I'm looking for some general help around the home with things like chopping wood and clearing some brush, helping with cultivating the home garden as well as caring for the sheep. I am originally from Toronto, Canada. It is a gorgeous and enchanting property that we will be taking to the next level and so I'm interested in working with people who already have a permaculture mindset or who are interested in learning more about it and what it means to be increasingly working towards self sustainability in a rural setting.

We go to visit local events related to wine and sometimes other farming or community related events. You will learn about caring for a diverse property. You will learn about soil, nature and creating a holistic and sustainable environment.

Arbeit
Chopping wood, creating biochar, turning the compost, helping with sheep, general garden related tasks. The property has some slope to it and so people who are comfortable with a little bit of hiking is ideal. The majority of the tasks are manual help related as there are always new tasks coming up around the property.

Unterkunft
You will have the upper floor to yourself in my large house. There are three empty bedrooms you can choose from, if there's more than one workawayer this floor will be shared. There is a bathroom there with shower. The meals are mostly vegetarian but sometimes we eat some meat. Can keep the food vegetarian or even vegan if you prefer.
