  We are a family of 4: dad, mom and two 10 and 12 year old girls. We live in northern Italy, in a town near Turin. We would like to host someone who wants to discover our country and, in exchange for our hospitality, we would like to improve our English. We have a room and a bathroom available, so our guest would have a lot of privacy. But they must like the girls, because they would be very curious and would certainly like to spend time with them. They would prefer a girl. A person willing to help them with their homework would be helpful.
  
  Siamo una famiglia di 4 persone: papà, mamma e due bambine di 9 e 11 anni. Viviamo in Italia del nord, in un paese vicino a Torino. Ci piacerebbe ospitare una persona che abbia voglia di scoprire il nostro paese e, in cambio della nostra ospitalità, vorremmo migliorare il nostro inglese. Abbiamo a disposizione una stanza e un bagno, quindi il nostro ospite avrebbe molta privacy. Devono però piacergli le bambine, perché loro sarebbero molto curiose e sicuramente vorrebbero passare del tempo con loro. Le bambine preferirebbero una ragazza. Sarebbe utile una persona disponibile ad aiutarle a fare i compiti.

  Unterkunft

  We have a room and a bathroom available on the ground floor of our house. Our family, on the other hand, sleeps and lives on the first floor where there is also the kitchen and the living room. The host would therefore have good privacy but we would like it to be part of family life so that we can get to know us and improve our English. We usually eat upstairs in the kitchen. During the week, we have breakfast around 7 / 7.15 am before going to school and work. Usually at lunch there can be the mother and the older child in the house. At dinner, however, we are all present. Dad comes home around 8.30pm and we all eat together. On Saturdays and Sundays, the rhythms can change. In any case, we can evaluate possible modifications and adaptations according to the needs of our guest; for example having breakfast at a different time during working days.
  
  
  Abbiamo una stanza e un bagno a disposizione al piano terra di casa nostra. La nostra famiglia, invece dorme e vive al primo piano dove ci sono anche la cucina e il salotto. L'ospite avrebbe quindi una buona privacy ma ci piacerebbe che facesse parte della vita familiare in modo da conoscerci e migliorare il nostro inglese. Normalmente mangiamo al piano di sopra, in cucina. In settimana, facciamo colazione verso le 7/7.15 prima di andare a scuola e a lavoro. Normalmente a pranzo ci possono essere la mamma e la bimba più grande in casa. A cena, invece siamo tutti presenti. Il papà arriva a casa verso le 8.30 di sera e mangiamo tutti insieme. Nei giorni di sabato e domenica i ritmi possono cambiare. In ogni caso, possiamo valutare possibili modifiche e adattamenti in base alle esigenze del nostro ospite; ad esempio fare colazione ad un'ora diversa durante i giorni lavorativi.

  Viviamo in un paese della provincia di Torino servito da mezzi pubblici come il pulman e il treno. Per raggiungere Torino il mezzo più comodo è il treno. Dal nostro paese passa un treno ogni ora ma il paese vicino ha corse più frequenti. Torino è una città turistica piena di musei, cinema, teatri, ristoranti e locali in grado di soddisfare tutti i gusti. Un'altra meta molto ambita del piemonte sono le langhe e il roero, famosi per i bei paesaggi collinari e per il vino.
  Da Torino sono raggoungibili altre città importanti come Milano e si possono raggiungere le spiagge liguri o le montagne (per le escursioni in estate o per lo sci in inverno)
