  Hi we are Lexi & Saskia
  
  We are a small family living on the beautiful island of Gozo, Malta, and we are looking for a friendly, responsible and caring Workawayer to join us and become part of our everyday family life.
  
  I have a 5½-year-old daughter, and we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and would be happy to lend a hand with the practical things that keep a home and family running smoothly.
  
  This is a relaxed family environment, and we would love to welcome someone who is interested not only in helping us, but also in experiencing Gozo, practising their English and getting to know local life and culture.

  Arbeit

  The main part of the help would be around my daughter and general household support, including:
  
  - Spending time with my daughter and keeping her company, engaging her in literacy and numeracy challenges, art & crafts
  - Helping with basic homework/reading time
  - Occasionally helping with simple activities, games or outings
  - Helping with general home upkeep
  - Light cleaning and tidying when needed
  - Occasional cooking or meal preparation when requested
  - Helping keep shared spaces organised
  - Being an extra pair of hands when family life gets busy
  
  The schedule would be discussed together and kept reasonable, also depending on everyone's well-being and comfort levels. We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to help as part of everyday family life, rather than someone who sees this as a formal job.
  
  You should be comfortable around children, ideally have First Aid training, reliable, tidy, proactive and able to use your initiative. Most importantly, we are looking for someone kind, patient and respectful.

  I will offer a private double room with an ensuite bathroom on the first floor in my family home (whilst me & my daughter live on the ground floor).

  Gozo is a beautiful, peaceful Mediterranean island with a very different pace of life from mainland Malta. There are lovely beaches and swimming spots, countryside walks, villages, restaurants and plenty to explore. We would be happy to help you discover the island and share our knowledge of the best places to go.
  
  This would suit someone who enjoys a quieter island lifestyle, meeting new people, experiencing another culture and becoming part of a family for a while.
