  Beschreibung

  There is my mother and I on the property, we are building second house in back acreage! We live out of Dawson City, and are active in organic, sustainable and DIY... We have animals, cats, chickens and rabbits! The goals on the place are to grow organic feed, to sustain the animals we possess. Also to feed ourselves as much, independently, from the grocery store. It is a work in progress, and it is a stepping stone in the direction of expanding to something bigger! Dawson City area is a wilderness, in modern standards, there is no one here:) If you are the nature type, actively seeking adventure and beautiful views, it is a great place to spend some time! I love the wilderness and take any excuse to be in it, so if you want company exploring I will be happy to show you some out of the way places.

  I think just communicating and spending time is a great cultural experience, but Dawson City is a unique place all on its own. I have travel a lot, and plan on more! Learning mostly different ways of doing things, I think outside of box steady, and so most things can be a learning curb! Even for me:)

  Arbeit

  Mostly looking for that second set of hands, take the burden off my mother. There is everything from building, gardening, greenhouse, stonework, dealing with the odd chicken or rabbit! Mostly a variety of different work in a day! I am always interested in learning, so anything you bring to the table I would be happy to learn! Language is something I am interested in, but anything is appreciated.

  Was noch ...

  There is many things to do in the area, much to do about nature, but the town is quite known for good times also! It is a major tour destination, mostly Germans and Swiss and Americans... There are also many different nationalities whom call this place home... it is more obvious since there is so few of us! But there is many events in town that are fun, party type fun... and also the historical side is fascinating. Gold mining is still the main industry, so it brings an assortment of personalities to the area:)
