  As a self-taught (but enthusiastic) DIY enthusiast, I would like to share my knowledge of lime techniques and color theory (an area in which I am quite proficient) with individuals who would like to assist me with small projects. Location: a charming old house in a small town in the Hérault region, 15 minutes from the coast, between Sète and Montpellier. There is a small garden and a micro-pool where you can enjoy a good swim when the weather is nice. You will be made to feel welcome, I will show you how to enjoy the region and teach you what I know that may be of interest to you. In return, you will help maintain the property and free up some of my time for my research work.
  
  
  
  Bricoleuse autodidacte (mais enthousiaste), je souhaite échanger les techniques de la chaux et ce que j'ai compris de la couleur (et là je suis vraiment en pointe) avec des personnes qui m'accompagneront dans des petits chantiers. Cadre : une maison vielle et accueillante dans une petite ville de l'Hérault, à 15 minutes du littoral, entre Sète et Montpellier. Il y a un petit jardin et une micro-piscine ou on peut faire des maxi-nages lorsqu'il fait beau. Vous serez bien accueillis, je vous indiquerai comment profiter de la région et vous enseignerai ce que je sais qui pourra vous intéresser. Vous, vous participerez à l'entretien de ce lieu et m'aiderez à dégager du temps pour mon métier de chercheur.

  Arbeit

  Essentially applying lime wash or traditional paints to old walls or wood (door frames). I will be with you to teach you the formulations and application methods. Also: wooden ceilings and shutters to be repainted with commercially available paints. Some small DIY tasks.

  des plafonds et volets de bois à repeindre avec peintures achetées dans le commerce . Quelques petits travaux de bricolages.

  Unterkunft

  A quiet, separate bedroom with a double bed, toilet, and shower. An additional bedroom with a double bed is available on the family floor for non-couples. Access to the garden with outdoor kitchen and small swimming pool in season, access to the family kitchen.
  Three simple meals (home cooking) per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
  
  Une chambre indépendante calme avec lit 2 personnes, WC et douche. Possibilité d'une chambre supplémentaire à l'étage familial avec lit 2 personnes si non couple. Accès jardin avec cuisine extérieure et petite piscine en saison, accès cuisine familiale.
  3 repas simples (cuisine familiale) par jour (petit déjeuner, déjeuner, diner).

  You can easily get to the beach if you have a car or take the bus. There are bike paths all around the city and buses to Sète (10 km) and Montpellier (17 km), which are interesting and pleasant cities. There are many tourist attractions, walks, museums, caves, and archaeological sites in the surrounding area. I am sometimes away on business, so we will need to agree on specific dates for your stay. The period during which I would like to carry out the tasks is the week of October 20-25.
  
  Vous pourrez aller à la plage facilement si vous avez une voiture ou en bus. Pistes cyclables tout autour de la ville et bus pour Sète à 10 km et Montpellier (17 km), des villes intéressantes et agréables. Nombreux sites touristiques, balades, musées, grottes, sites archéologiques dans les environs. Je suis parfois en déplacements : nous devrons convenir de dates précises pour votre accueil. La période durant laquelle je souhaite réaliser les chantiers est la semaine du 20-25 octobre
