  Come Share Life With Us in the Blue Mountains (Off-Grid Bush Home)
  
  Hello!
  We’re a blended family living in beautiful Mount Victoria in the Blue Mountains, about 2 hours from Sydney. Our family is blended with Leanne (I’m First Nations), my husband Tim our son Eli (3 years old, full time with us and full of joy and curiosity).
  On occasion we have Tim's children (16yrs & 19yrs). We’re in the process of slowly shaping our place into a peaceful off-grid bush retreat — 100% solar powered, surrounded by trees, quiet, and big skies. This space is very special to us and we’re building it with care and intention. We’d love to welcome helpers who would like to share in that experience for around 4 weeks.

  As a First Nations woman, this place holds meaning for me beyond just being a house. Over time, we hope it becomes a small bush retreat space grounded in care, culture and connection to land. If you’re curious and open, I’m always happy to share stories and perspectives. We value warmth, honesty, humour and people who naturally pitch in and take initiative.   We’re creating and maintaining a home in the bush, so help might include:
  
  -Gardening, planting, mulching, tidying outdoor spaces
  -Simple DIY or practical projects around the house
  -Cleaning and organising
  -Preparing or helping cook family meals
  -Spending some gentle, playful time with Eli
  
  We especially value people who are:
  -Practical and happy to be hands-on
  -Comfortable in nature
  -Kind and respectful around children
  -Independent and happy to also enjoy their own downtime
  -Non-smokers
  Preferred Driving is helpful and your own car/vehicle (we’re in the mountains), and good English makes communication easier.
