  Beschreibung

  Our house is located in the village of Ituren, Navarra province, Basque Country (Spain). It is a traditional stone house with a yard, a large vegetable garden and a chicken coop. We also have several small fields nearby, with walnut trees and four sheep. Our home is a large house, especially since the kids have gone, so now only the two of us, Marisa and Mixel, live there, with our dogs and cats (who live outside). We offer a family atmosphere, always respecting everyone’s independence. We enjoy good-quality homemade food, and live a quiet life in a green and beautiful rural environment. In return, we need your help around the house, the yard, and the vegetable garden.
  
  Gure etxea, Ituren herrian dago, Nafarroan, Euskal Herrian. Herriko etxe haundi bat da, baratzea, lorategia eta oilategi batekin. Baditugu gainera lur sail txiki batzuk etxetik aparte, intxaurrondo batzuk eta 4 ardiekin. Bertan, Marisa eta Mixel bizi gara gure txakur eta katuekin (beraiek kanpoan bizi dira). Etxea ere haundia da, are eta haundiagoa gure seme alabek bertatik hegan egin zutenetik. Familia giroa eskaintzen dugu, betiere norberaren independentzia errespetatuz, etxeko eta kalitatezko janari goxoak eta landa eremuko inguru berde eta eder bateko lasaitasuna. Guzti horren truke, zuen laguntza beharko genuke etxeko hainbat lan ezberdinetarako, baratza eta lorategian.
  
  Nuestra casa está en Ituren, Navarra, Euskal Herria. Es una casa antigua de pueblo con una huerta grande, jardín y gallinero. También tenemos varias piezas de tierra aparte de la casa con algunos nogales y 4 ovejas. Aquí vivimos Marisa y Mixel, con nuestras perras y gatas (ellas viven fuera). La casa también es grande, y más desde que nuestros hij@s volaron. Ofrecemos un ambiente familiar respetando siempre la independencia de cada cual, con buena comida casera de calidad, y mucha tranquilidad en un verde y muy bonito entorno rural. A cambio, necesitamos vuestra ayuda en las diferentes labores de casa, en la huerta y jardín.

  At home you can experience the typical work of a village house with a yard, vegetable garden and animals. Culturally, we speak Basque and Spanish at home, and we also speak French and English. Therefore, we can help you to improve your Basque and Spanish, and in return we could practice our English and French with you.
  In addition, Ituren is a rural village in which our Basque customs and celebrations have been kept alive. We are world travellers and are always open and willing to learn from you and to share with you.
  
  Gure etxean, baratzea, lur sailak eta animaliak dituen herriko etxe batean ohikoak diren lanak egiteko aukera izango duzue. Kulturari dagokionez, etxean euskaraz eta gaztelaniaz hitz egiten dugu, eta gai gara frantsesa eta ingelesarekin ere. Horregatik, guk euskara eta gaztelaniarekin lagunduko dizuegu eta guri ere ongi etorriko litzaiguke gure frantsesa eta ingelesa zuekin praktikatzea. Gainera, Ituren Euskal Herriko landa eremuko herria da eta bertan errotuta daude gure euskal kulturaren ohiturak eta ospakizunak.   En casa, podréis practicar las labores típicas de una casa de pueblo con huerto, tierras y animales. Culturalmente, en casa hablamos euskara y castellano, y además sabemos francés e inglés. Por lo tanto, os podremos ayudar a mejorar vuestro euskara y castellano, y a nosotros nos vendría muy bien practicar nuestro inglés y francés. Además, Ituren es un pueblo rural de Euskal Herria en el que están arraigadas costumbres y celebraciones de nuestra cultura vasca. Por otra parte, nosotros, viajeros, estamos siempre abiertos y dispuestos a aprender y compartir todo lo que vosotr@s traigáis a nuestra casa.

  We also need your help in the different household chores, both in the yard and vegetable garden as well as in maintenance help: weeding, cleaning the chicken coop, harvesting and planting, trimming hedges, moving firewood...
  
  Zuen laguntza behar dugu hainbat etxeko lanetarako, bai baratzea eta lorategian nahiz mantentze eta konpontze lanetan: belar txarrak kendu, oilategia garbitu, uzta eta landaketak, hesiak txukundu, egur lanak, sastraka kendu, ....
  
  Necesitamos vuestra ayuda en las diferentes labores de casa, tanto en la huerta y jardín como en trabajos de mantenimiento y reparación: limpieza de hierbas, limpieza de gallinero, recoger y plantar, cortar setos, hacer leña….

  Single room with shared bathroom. We all eat together in the kitchen. We don't have wi-fi.

  Being located in a rural setting, this is a special place to go hiking or cycling, and enjoy the tranquillity of the natural environment.
  We are about 45 km from Donostia-San Sebastian, as well as from Iruña-Pamplona. You can get here from both provincial capitals by taking a bus to Doneztebe-Santesteban, which is 4 km from our house, and where we can go to pick you up by car.
  
  Landa eremuan kokatuta gaudenez, mendi irteerak egin, bizikletan ibili eta ingurugiroaren lasaitasunaz gozatzeko leku aproposa da.
  Donostiatik eta Iruñatik 45 bat kilometrora gaude. Autobusez joan zaitezkete bi hiriburuetatik Doneztebe/Santestebanera. Bertatik gure etxera 4 km. besterik ez daude eta kotxez joan gaitezke zuen bila.
  
  Al estar situados en un entorno rural, es un lugar especial para hacer senderismo o bicicleta, y disfrutar de la tranquilidad del ambiente.
  Estamos a unos 45 km. de Donostia- San Sebastian y Iruña-Pamplona. Podéis llegar en autobús desde ambas capitales hasta Doneztebe-Santesteban, que está a 4 km. de nuestra casa y a donde podemos ir a recogeros en coche.
