  Hello! We are a warm and curious family of five living in Slovenia and we love welcoming people from different parts of the world into our home.
  
  Our family includes three daughters, aged 7, 9, and 11. For a few years we homeschooled our girls, and although they are now learning in different ways, we still try to follow alternative and creative approaches to education. We encourage curiosity, learning through everyday experiences, creativity, and spending a lot of time outdoors.
  
  I work part-time in a local organic food shop, and I am also a photographer and a virtual assistant. Photography is my passion — I love capturing real, authentic moments of life, from birth stories to the simple beauty of everyday family moments. My husband works as a developer, and in his free time he enjoys woodworking, gardening, and creating things with his hands.
  
  Traveling and meeting people from different cultures is something we truly love. This year we had the opportunity to travel to the Cape Verde islands, which was a beautiful adventure for our whole family. Experiences like this remind us how much we enjoy discovering the world and learning from different cultures.
  
  In our daily life we try to live with respect for nature and all living beings. We care about ecological farming, eat mostly organic food, try to reduce waste, and are always exploring ways to live more sustainably and gently with our Mother Earth.
  
  We would love to host a Workawayer who enjoys spending time with children and connects with them naturally. A part of the help would be spending time with our girls — playing, creating, exploring outside, and speaking English with them in a fun and relaxed way.
  
  We also need help in the garden (weeding, planting...), with animals, or with small tasks in and around the house. We see Workaway as a cultural exchange and hope that whoever stays with us will feel like part of the family, sharing stories, meals, and experiences together.
  
  If you enjoy being around children, like nature, and appreciate simple family life, we would be happy to welcome you into our home.

  We live near Bled, which is one of Slovenia's highlights with it's beautiful lake and there is plenty of things to see and do. We try to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where our Workawayer feels comfortable and part of the family. We are quite flexible when it comes to schedules and preferences, and we like to find a rhythm that works well for everyone.
  
  You will have time to explore the area and enjoy Slovenia. We are always happy to suggest places to visit, nature spots, small towns, or beautiful trips in the surroundings. Sometimes we also take our Workawayer with us on family outings or day trips so you can experience a bit more of the country and our lifestyle.
  
  If you would like to travel around Slovenia or nearby countries during your stay, we are happy to help you with ideas, tips, and organizing your plans.
  
  For us, Workaway is not just about help, but about cultural exchange, meeting interesting people, and sharing experiences. We enjoy conversations, good food, time outside, and learning from each other.

  Your job would be to spend time with our children, do some gardening and help around the house, we always have too much ideas and too little time :)

  Unterkunft

  We live by the forest so there's a lot of nature all around. You would have your own bedroom and toilet, and would share bathroom and kitchen with us. We live in a big house, with my husband's father, but he has his own appartment downstairs. You are welcome to eat with us.
