  Hello workaway community :)
  
  My name is Sarah Jane and I would like to share my dream come true with you!
  
  I have always wanted to buy and restore an old Italian House in the Northern Italian region of Piemonte, not far from where I have been living (South of France) for the last 12 years. In a little town in the langhe wine region next to Barolo, Monforte d'Alba and La Morra to name a few neighbouring villages.
  
  I am half way there I've bought one and she is a beauty :)
  
  Now the really exciting part.....renovating it while respecting the history of the House and making the local community proud to look up at their lovingly restored historic house on the rock!
  
  We have already cleared the whole house and started exposing the red brick arched ceilings and stairway which was an amazing find!
  
  As you can image the house and garden need a lot of work and I would love to complete parts of the house and courtyard this year!

  You will have the opportunity to explore this region of Italy and surrounding areas, including the Italian language, culture, food and breathtaking countryside including rolling wine hills, wine tasting, truffle hunting and during winter nearby ski resorts!

  I would love to connect with people who are skilled in plumbing, electrics, tiling, plastering, gardening and landscaping to help renovate the house and bring it back to its former glory!

  Unterkunft

  The house has a lot of bedrooms, they are very basic and old fashioned for now and once we complete a new bedroom ensuite you are more than welcome to upgrade :)
  
  Unfortunately I won't be always at the house as I don't live there its a holiday home.
  
  I am flexible how the food would work, when I'm there I will be preparing the meals and when I'm away you would be on your own so I could organise a food delivery or a weekly budget for food depending on what suits :)

  Wine tasting in all the local vineyards, Baladin beer garden up the road with nightly summer entertainment, music and open air cinema....etc, truffle hunting, hikes in the hills and alps nearby, in winter time ski resorts of Limone Piemonte and Mondole Ski nearby to name a few local activities!
