Interested in Sailing? My partner and I live on a 16m Sail boat in Whangarei. It is a 16m Junk Rig Schooner who has been our home for 5 years. We sail often and love to share our knowledge and experience as well as hearing about your stories and adventures. We are hauling out for a week or so and need a hand with painting, cleaning and basic maintenance. We are looking for one (maybe a couple) relaxed, motivated people to help out. No experience needed. Meals and bunks included. We’ll take you for a weekend sail when the work is completed.

We love to share our knowledge and experience as well as hearing about your stories and adventures.
You will be working closely with Peter. The work will involve sanding, painting and general repair work on a sailboat whilst on the “hard”. No experience required but people who enjoy physical labor, have a bit of DIY experience and enjoy good banter are welcome.
Englisch: Fließend
You will have a (small) private cabin on the boat. Shared toilet and bathroom facilities in the yard. Meals will be very basic and we’d love help in the galley.
Whangarei is a hidden gem. Beautiful beaches, many walks to explore, kayaking and much more.
