Beschreibung
We are an international family of four, living on the outskirts of Hamburg, in Northern Germany. We speak English at home and work in the creative industry. Our home is one of the first houses in the area, built in 1896, on the doorstep of the beautiful Sachsenwald Forest. Our garden is where we spend the majority of our time in Summer and our children are 6 and 9. They love sport, from hockey to swimming to tennis, we've even got a cricket pitch in the garden - I think the only cricket pitch in the area!

There's plenty to do in our area, 30 mins to Hamburg on the train. Mountain biking, walking and exploring the forest is endless. The local lake is a 20 min walk, 5 min bike ride away, swimming possible from May - October. We can share language and a general openness for the world, having lived in 3 different continents ourselves. We love getting to know new cultures and different people. We've previously hosted many au pairs, but as our kids are no longer babies we felt we didn't need so much help on that front anymore.
Arbeit
We'd love to get to know different people, have them in our home and would also love a little help in the garden. It's not a huge garden and is there to be enjoyed, but some assistance with little jobs would be appreciated

Unterkunft
We have a spare room inside our house. The room is on a level on its own, giving you some private space. It has a double bed, wardrobe and desk. And a TV if you'd like it (with regular German TV channels) There is a shared bathroom and shared living space. We'd also love to all eat together, food is a big thing in our family, and we make a point to eat together most nights. Food would be included in your stay.
