  hello i am michael, skipper/owner of two traditional sailing ships in harlingen the Netherlands.We mainly sail multi-day trips with german or dutch guests on the beautiful Wadden Sea and we usually spend the night on the islands, but also often at anchor.
  Our season starts in April/May and lasts until the end of September/beginning of October
  I am looking for a European sailor( preference female) who, together with me , will entertain the guests, teach them how to sail, show the guests the island and carry out some maintenance on board.In our home port of Harlingen the ships are moored next to each other.The ships sail their voyages separately from each other. We live on board as a crew. You will have your own accommodation separate from the guests.
  
  Please respond if you can come for at least 4 months or longer.

  you will have plenty of free time to discover the beautiful Wadden Islands yourself, or go cycling with the guests for a day.
  Learning the Dutch language and the maintenance and sailing of a Historical flat-bottomed boat.

  Arbeit

  At the beginning of the season you will maintain the ship and prepare it for the guests. Think of removing rust, sanding, painting...
  During our sailing trips you will entertain the guests and teach them how to sail and show them around the islands.
  When the season is over we prepare the ships for winter.

  you have your own cozy cabin with a small sitting area and washbasin.
  A shared kitchen and bathroom with the skipper.
  Usually we eat with the guests.

  Our home port is Harlingen. From there our journeys will begin and end.
  We will explore the Wadden Islands and the ports on the Ijsselmeer. You will have plenty of free time to discover the beautiful Wadden Islands or the ports yourself.
