Beschreibung
Our project was founded in 2019 by four activists to deliver educational activities to children, as they strongly believe that children are our planet’s only hope and feel great responsibility towards future generations. We soon expanded our horizons, delivering courses on permaculture, regenerative farming, organic gardening, natural building and more, designing and running several environmental projects.
We are established on the island of Lesbos, one of the main European landing places for displaced populations from different migratory routes, we felt obliged to use our tools to bridge the gap between the local and refugee populations, bringing them all together to work and restore the earth, while at the same time restoring relationships.
Our Mission is indeed the regeneration of the environment, of culture and of human relations. Through our plethora of educational tools we aim to teach people of all backgrounds and ages how to live more sustainable, healthier lives while caring for each other and mother nature.
Please note that at the moment we have no educational activities or children activities scheduled for the rest of the year and that we are currently recruiting only for farm/gardening jobs.

Live by the sea, enjoy our the beautiful farm and Mediterranean lifestyle, learn about the culture of Lesvos ( we have a couple of great tavernas nearby) exchanging different experiences with people from different backgrounds, acquiring skills and knowledge for environmental regeneration. We can also provide bicycles for transport to explore nearby villages and other nearby areas. Minimum stay 1 month.

Arbeit
We are looking for volunteers to help in our farm located close to Mitylene, Lesvos. Volunteers help with other international volunteers to build and maintain garden spaces, and tend a few animals. The volunteer will be involved in all projects that the organization will have active in the farm in that specific period but mainly they will be working as farm workers. The volunteer's commitment will therefore be divided between our farm and olive groves as needed ( we produce our own olive oil so during olive harvesting season you will be harvesting olives with us).

Unterkunft
We provide accommodation in shared rooms, dormitory style, in our farm, located on amazing land by the sea, living in a communal setting, pitching in together. During the working week we share meals. Accommodation and meals are free for Workaway volunteers.

The farm is located in a beautiful green area by the sea, nearby there are beautiful beaches, characteristic villages with bars and restaurants. About 15 minutes away by car and public transport is the town of Mytilene, with beautiful beaches, many shops, restaurants, clubs, a pretty port and a castle. The island of Lesvos is the third largest in the Aegean Sea, it is characterised by its numerous olive trees and there are various naturalistic attractions, both mountainous and maritime, characteristic villages and much more. Lesvos is not very touristic, its mainly agricultural and it will suit people who want to get away from the crowds and live in quite natural surroundings. It has a very prominent culture, food, drink and music ( it is the birth place of Ouzo).
