  My name is Virginia Zenteno, I am 65 years old, I live alone in my house, although I am part of a collective project with 4 friends, of which only 1 lives permanently in Chiloé. I am an agronomist, I have 2 adult children and 6 years ago, I came to the Island of Chiloé from Santiago. This decision is part of a life project, where I want to make a contribution to the care of nature and local development. I participate in a work cooperative that promotes cooperation and agroecological production. My land has a very irregular topography and therefore is mostly covered by native forest renewal. I have a small outdoor garden, I also grow berries on a small surface. There are several ancient apple trees on the land that I am trying to recover.

  Mi nombre es Virginia Zenteno, tengo 65 años, vivo sola en mi casa, aunque soy parte de un proyecto colectivo con 4 amigos, de los cuales solo 1 vive en forma permanente en Chiloé. Soy agrónoma, tengo 2 hijos adultos y hace 6 años, me vine a la Isla de Chiloé desde Santiago. Esta desición es parte de un proyecto de vida, donde quiero realizar un aporte en el cuidado de la naturaleza y el desarrollo local. Participo en una cooperativa de trabajo que promueve la cooperación y la producción agroecológica. Mi terreno tiene una topografía muy irregular y por lo tanto esta mayoritariamente cubierto por un renoval de bosque nativo. Tengo una pequeña huerta al aire libre, tambien cultivo berries en pequeña superficie. En el terreno ha varios manzanos antiguos que estoy tratando de recuperar.

  Unterkunft

  There is an independent space for 2 people with beds, a coat, a bathroom with hot water and a kitchen. Volunteers will have an independent place to sleep properly equipped. I will provide the supplies for breakfast and lunch and I will be in charge of the main meal that will be at the end of the day. I don't cook meat of any kind.

  Se dispone de un espacio independiente para 2 personas con camas, abrigo, baño con agua caliente y cocina.
  
  Los voluntarios tendrán un lugar independiente para dormir adecuadamente habilitado. Proporcionaré los insumos para desayuno y almuerzo y yo me encargaré de la comida principal que será al cierre de la jornada. No cocino carne de ningun tipo.

  It is a place located in the rural sector, located 12 km from Ancud, there is no regular public transportation, it is possible to hitchhike or it is also possible to resort to low-cost informal transportation. There are many many places to visit and enjoy (sea, countryside, beaches, historical sites, etc.). There are no businesses nearby.

  Es un lugar ubicado en el sector rural, ubicado a 12 km de Ancud, no existe transporte público regular, si es posible desplazarse a "dedo" o también es posible recurrir a transporte informal de bajo costo. Existen muchos muchos lugares para conocer y disfrutar (mar, campo, playas, sitio históricos, etc). No hay ningun negocio cerca.
