  Countryside next to Nice
  
  Hi!
  Our house and the land are located next to Nice and the small village of Falicon.
  We are restoring our land (1,5ha) in order to plant a vineyard in the winter 2021 and restart the olive culture. The land is planted with a hundred of ancient olive trees.
  It is a beautiful countryside, and has the convenience to be very close to the center of Nice (30min by bus).
  The property use to be a farm, cultivated as a vineyard, olive field and vegetables. The farming activities stopped 40 years ago. Over the passed few years we have cleaned the land. Now the next step is to prepare for the plantation and give it back his primary function and history of land growing with an environmental friendly approach.
  
  We can host 2 people.
  
  Over the week end, you can visit Nice and the region. The bus station is 250m walk from the house, it takes you directly in the center. From Nice Railway station, you can easily visit the region by train.

  Campagne aux abords de Nice
  
  Nous vivons à proximité de Nice, près du village de Falicon. C’est une belle campagne, proche du centre de Nice (30min en bus).
  
  Nous réhabilitons notre terrain (1,5ha) pour le convertir en terrain agricole. Nous travaillons à lui redonner sa fonction et son histoire agricole (vigne et olivier) dans une démarche d’agroforesterie.
  Le but est de planter un vignoble en hiver 2021 et reprendre l’activité d'oléiculture. Le terrain est planté d'une centaine d’oliviers, dont la plupart sont des arbres séculaires, donc très anciens. Le terrain anciennement exploité en vignes et polycultures (vergers et maraichage) était en friche depuis 40 ans. Nous avons débroussaillé et défriché ces dernières années.
  
  Nous proposons à 2 woofers de nous rejoindre.
  Logement :
  - une caravane (lit double)
  - une chambre (lit double) dans la maison.
  Aide et collaboration demandées: 5-6 heures par jour / 5 jours par semaine.
  
  Le week end vous avez la possibilité de visiter Nice, aller à la plage, visiter l’arrière-pays. La station de bus direct dans le centre ville est située à 250m de la maison. La ville de Nice est très bien desservie avec le TER si vous voulez visiter la region.
  Nous parlons français, anglais, allemand, russe et tchèque et nous vous attendons.

  Wir wohnen auf dem Land auf einer Hügel über Nizza in der Gemeinde von Falicon, nicht weit vom Zentrum Nizza (direkt mit Bus 30 mn).
  
  Unterbringung :
  - Wohnwagen mit Doppelbett
  - Zimmer mit Doppelbett im Haus
  
  Zusammenarbeit 5-6 Stunden pro Tag/5 Tage pro Woche. Biss bald!

  Winter 2019/Spring 2020 projects:
  This is what we will do with your help)) starting this autumn 2019 until spring 2020.
  Terraces/“Restanques"
  - the ground is landed with ancient terraces (restanques), we need to restaure them.
  - clean the ground (branches, dry trees).
  - clean up 2 springs.
  - elaboration of a park for sheep (0,5ha).
  The trees:
  - harvesting olives trees in order to produce a 1st production of oil (mid November until end of December 2020).
  - pruning of fruit trees.
  - collecting the wood after the pruning of olive and fruit trees.

  Hiver/Printemps 2019
  Voici ce que nous prévoyons de faire, avec l’aide de woofers, à partir de cet automne jusqu’au printemps 2020:
  les restanques:
  - restaurer les restanques et leurs murs en pierres sèches.
  - nettoyer le terrain (branchages, arbres morts).
  - nettoyer 2 sources
  - planter un parc (0,5ha) pour des moutons.
  les arbres:
  - fin novembre jusqu’à mi-décembre: récolter les olives pour faire une premiere production d’huile.
  - taille des fruitiers, élagage.
  - ramasser les bois après l’élagage d’oliviers et de fruitiers.

  Ab Herbst bis Frühling wollen wir mit Hilfe von Woofers die Bereinigung fortsetzen, alte Steinmauer renovieren sowie die 2 Quellen, Oliven ernen und eine Wiese für Schäfe installieren.
