  Hello and Ia Orana!
  
  We are a family living in Faa'a, on the island of Tahiti. We have a daughter who will soon be 10 years old — she was born and raised here. We love to travel and have been living in Tahiti for over 13 years.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  After living in Tahiti for many years, we’ve had the chance to travel through many of the surrounding archipelagos. With experience working in tourism, we’d be happy to share our knowledge and stories with you.
  
  I would also love to introduce you to my passion: Ori Tahiti (Tahitian dance), and all the beautiful cultural traditions that come with it. If you’re interested, we can share moments around music, dance, local customs, and the Polynesian lifestyle.
  
  I have lived in both England and New Zealand, and my daughter attends a bilingual school. You'll have plenty of opportunities to speak English or French with us, depending on your preference!
  
  
  
  Depuis toutes ces années où Tahiti est devenue notre maison, nous avons voyagé dans de nombreux archipels. Ayant travaille dans le tourisme également nous pourrons partager nos expériences avec vous.
  Ce sera aussi un plaisir de partager avec vous ma passion pour le Ori Tahiti (danse tahitienne) et tout l'environnement culturel qui s'y rattache.

  Arbeit

  My husband often travels for work, so I am frequently alone with our daughter. I’m currently preparing for a big personal goal: to take part in the world’s largest Tahitian dance competition in July 2026. As the training and rehearsals will mostly take place on weekday evenings and Saturdays, I’m looking for some help with childcare during that period — from the end of February to mid-July, when my husband is away.
  
  I’m looking for someone who can:
  On weekday evenings: give my daughter dinner and put her to bed by 7:00 PM (I usually return around 8:30 PM).
  
  On Saturdays: spend the day with her.
  
  Weekdays before 5:00 PM will be completely free for you — perfect if you want time to explore, study, or work on your own projects!
  
  We live up in the hills at about 500 meters altitude, with stunning views and peaceful surroundings. However, there’s no public transportation from our home, so having your own vehicle is essential.
  
  
  Mon mari étant souvent amené à voyager pour son travail , je suis souvent seule avec ma fille.
  Ayant comme rêve de participer à la plus grande compétition de danse tahitienne du monde en juillet 2026, j'ai besoin d'aide pour la garder lors des répétions qui se dérouleront majoritairement les soirs de semaine ainsi que les samedis de fin février à mi juillet. Lorsque mon mari sera bien évidemment absent:)
  Je cherche donc quelqu'un qui en semaine donnera le repas à ma fille et la couchera à 19h ( mon retour sera aux alentours de 20h30)
  Et les samedis passer la journée avec elle.
  Toutes les journées de semaine jusqu'à 17h seront donc libres pour vous et vous permettront d'explorer, d'étudier ou travailler!
  
  Nous habitons en hauteur, à 500 metres d'altitude et il n'y a pas de transport en commun depuis chez nous il est donc essentiel d'être motorisé

  We offer you a bedroom on the ground floor of our home, with an dedicated bathroom.
  Our family bedrooms are located upstairs, so you’ll have your own quiet and private corner to relax and enjoy your stay. 😊
  
  Nous vous proposons une chambre au rez de chaussée de notre maison avec une salle de bain attenante. Nos chambres sont situes à l'étage donc vous aurez votre petit coin de tranquillité :)

  Meals & Independence
  To respect everyone's independence, meals are not provided. However, our kitchen is fully equipped and you’ll have free access to it to prepare your own meals whenever you like.
  
  
  Il est imperatif d etre disponible de fin fevrier à mi juillet au minimum! Merci de ne pas me contacter si vous n'etes pas disponibles pleinement sur toute cette periode.
  
  Nous preferons ne pas fournir les repas pour préserver l'indépendance de chacun mais la cuisine est tres bien équipée et vous y aurez libre accès.
