  Beschreibung

  We’re a Costa Rican / Finnish couple setting up a house and garden / production space for our plant-based food restaurant in Manuel Antonio.
  
  The house and little food production / garden space is located across from the Naranjito river in Londres which is about 20 minutes by car, 40 by bus away from Manuel Antonio where the restaurant is. MA is also a beach town.
  
  We have a place in MA too, and will be going back and forth so we can also give you a ride sometimes if you want to head to the beach, explore The national park, or go around MA some days.
  
  We have a dog Sky, and we are vegetarian and ask that all food in the space be as well!
  
  We provide accommodation, we will sometimes prepare meals but it’ll mostly be up to you to make sure you’re well fed :)

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  You can practice your Spanish with Phani (part of the couple) and with locals in the town. Londres is a little town next to a river and is a very local community in Costa Rica, so you will get a better chance to immerse yourself in a local Costa Rican culture than other places that are more touristy, like Manuel Antonio.
  
  You’ll have a chance to work with tropical fruits & herbs that you may not have tried before or even heard of. Although it would be amazing if you have, too ;)

  Arbeit

  We currently are looking for a couple of individuals or couples who are able to help ~ 20 hours a week helping us to set up the space. The house needs renovations, there’s some furniture we want to build, and so we need help with painting and people who are experienced in home renovations — artists are welcome as we would love some of your unique pieces in the space!
  
  As well people experienced in permaculture or exotic gardening who can help us harvest what’s there, and help with setting up and planting new herbs and veggies. The property currently has no less than 10 different kinds of fruit trees… a variety of herbs & chilis.

  Unterkunft

  The casita that’s in renovation has a room where you will stay. It’s in descent shape, but we would like it to bring it up a notch ;)
  
  Couples will get a double bed and private room. Individuals will get a single bed in a shared room.
