Beschreibung
Hello, we are Alexandra, 57 years old and Hervé 56. We live with a small dog, 3 cats and 6 chickens on a beautiful, large property with lots of garden in Brandenburg (Germany).
We eat vegetarian and vegan food and accept no meat in the house. We do not drink alcohol. You may have occasionally a glass of wine or a beer, but please do not bring weed or any other drug.
Please only apply if you have a health- insurance.
We do our groceries in a small nearby town – Fehrbellin (5km away) – or in the next larger – Neuruppin (18km away).
The closest train stations – where we can pick you up – are Neuruppin and Friesack (Mark) (13km away). Berlin is 66km away.
We have a large cozy house with open kitchen and living room, a large and a small bathroom, a bedroom, a children room, and a guest room.
There is also enough space in the garden for a car/ campervan or a tent.
One special feature is that there are no doors upstairs, only curtains. Don't worry, that sounds crazier than it is and has never caused problems so far.
There are five other people of different ages living on the property, but they are here irregularly.
We have a large yard with a vegetable garden, fruit and nut trees, a place for campfires, hammocks and swings.
We need help on the property and in the garden with chores and small projects. We wish that the people who wish to stay with with us, will eat, work, chat, learn, do yoga with us, and most importantly enjoy this place as much as we do.
We speak German, English, Danish and French. We would also enjoy to learn languages together.

I am willing to take you anywhere where I am going, for example yoga classes, tango classes, ecstatic dancing in Berlin, pottery markets, other artisan markets, show you the beautiful nature around here, go for walks, bike rides....
Arbeit
Help with all chores and small projects around the property and the garden, such as cutting grass, weeding, harvesting, walking the dog, housekeeping, repair work inside and outside the house. There's always something to do. There are no special skills required.

I did some gardening work like mowing but actually it felt more like visiting a good friend than work.
Alexandra is a very kind and gentle person and she let me share her every day life.
We cooked and ate together, we went for a walk with our dogs and I even had my very first yoga lesson.
