This Hostel is a very nice, small, and cozy place with a great atmosphere.
Voted for the best hostel in Macedonia for 2013,2016,2017,2019,2024 and 8th best small hostel worldwide.
We are a crew who own and run this nice and warm hostel and we’ve been traveling a lot, so we know very well what backpackers need :)
So we invite you to stay in our little charming hostel and let us make your visit unforgettable.

We are a hostel that works only with foreign travellers and backpackers and our location is in one of the oldest neighbourhood in Skopje. Here you can meet with a lot of old Skopjans and can learn about the history of Skopje very easy. Our staff is native from Skopje so the helpers will have the opportunity to hang out with us and a lot of macedonian people. Please join us and let us show you Macedonia in real vibe.

We are near the Old Bazaar (which is full of bars) and next to a bus stop that connects very easy our hostel with all the sightseeing things in Skopje. (Canyon Matka, Mount Vodno etc)

Johanne was an incredible addition to our hostel team! She was hardworking, reliable, and always had a great attitude. She got along well with staff and guests, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. She handled everything efficiently and with enthusiasm. Working at the hostel was wonderful! It’s a small hostel with real backpackers’ vibes. I’ve meet so many interesting people and had amazing experiences. Zdravo. It's a bit late but and I don't normally do reviews and stuff but this place was super mint. Nice chill accomodating hostel with great vibes. Shanty has been one of the nicest places I've ever been to, it's peaceful and there is such a beautiful energy. They took me in and with no doubt I can call it my home.
