Our stay at the beautiful piece of land of Alizé, Max and their two lovely children was a truly rememberable experience for us. We could really feel that Alizé and Max spent years travelling as volunteers themselves - they are truly open-minded people and know how to create a warm space for their guest. Since we were one of the first people volunteering there, they were very open and honestly interested in our views, feelings and suggestions on how to structure the work, how to communicate and how to improve the place for future guests.
We are very sure they will continue to be great hosts and can recommend their place warmly!

A last-minute request that turned into a truly beautiful connection. Jonn and Keelie were not only a huge help, but also just amazing, kind-hearted people. Super respectful, easy to be around, and so great with our kids — it felt like having friends over rather than helpers.

What a warm, wonderful, and welcoming stay we had with Max and Alizé and kids. It was a smooth transition from arrival to integration with the family, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Note that while this is a homestead-in-progress, the "amenities" are still nice (hot shower, private bathroom), though simple.
Max and Alizé know how to do workaway because they've done it before - this was a cultural exchange and not just a work exchange, and Keelie and I couldn't have wished for it to be any better.

Maxime, Alizé and the two children gave us a warm welcome. We stayed at Villa Belfiore for three weeks. The weather was very wet and windy at the beginning, so we gladly accepted the offer to sleep in the camper instead of the tent. We liked the communal meals, e.g. with fresh salad from the garden. We also enjoyed two joint excursions to a market
… read more and the open day at the two children's school. We two adults helped with the many projects on the farm in the mornings. Meanwhile, our daughter looked after the two sweet, very young cats and the time flew by. We can recommend everyone to come and visit this friendly family and help them develop their agritourism project. Our very first experience with Workaway couldn't have been better!

Wow! Pour notre première expérience en tant que Host sur Workaway, ce fut un vrai coup de foudre. Amandine et Jérémy sont deux curieux de la vie qui adorent aider et apprendre de nouvelles choses. Toujours très polis, super aidants, ponctuels, accommodants et toujours souriants, ce fut, en leur compagnie, un moment de partage hors du commun.
… read more Malgré le stress, les températures/météo pas toujours faciles, ils avaient le goût véritable de nous aider dans notre projet, même s'ils n'avaient jamais fait la tâche qu'on leur demandait. La qualité de leur travail et la rigueur avec laquelle ils s'appliquent ont faciliter grandement l'avancement de nos travaux. Côté personnel, ils faisaient partis littéralement de la famille et ce fut triste de leur dire au revoir.
On vous les recommande sans hésitation!!

Travailler sur l’évolution de leur minibus à été d’un grand intérêt pour nous, nous avons tellement appris. Que ce soit techniquement ou humainement. Max à toujours été très patient, très confiant dans la répartition de nos taches et toujours de bonne humeur. Au-delà de ça, nous avons grandement été remercié pour l’effort fourni quotidiennement par le biais de riches expériences et de précieux conseils.
Quitter leur famille nous à été difficile. Cependant, ayant tissé de véritables liens d’amitié, nous sommes persuadés que le contact sera conservé et que nous les reverrons bientôt.
